From what i heard Hon Kei was previously a roadside hawker stall selling famous Pork Porridge near Ho Ping Coffee Shop which is located between Penang Road and Lorong Kampung Malabar. It was just few years ago the owner son expand his father's business by moving into renovated heritage shop lots in Lorong Kampung Malabar which is not far from it's previous location.
The environment here is clean and well ventilate, comfortable to dine in here. Their service is fast and good too but the weird thing is, this place looks like a restaurant but the food payment is done individually like a hawker stall, haha .. ! But its all good for me.

Hon Kei Food Corner is popular for its pork noodle, fish head noodle and porridge. I tried their Minced Pork Porridge and it is tasty, it is serve hot and it feel so nice when the hot porridge enter my stomach, haha ! Love the porridge. While for the Dry Hor Fun, it is tasty too and they are generous with the ingredient they use. Toast is nice but the horlicks is a little bit sweet but still acceptable for me.
