Everland is a theme park located in Yongin, South Korea. A lot of people has been asking, which is better to visit when in South Korea ? the Lotte World Theme Park or Everland ? Well from what we know, Lotte World is more into indoor theme park where most of the rides are indoor so there is no need to worry about the weather if it will rain or not. Everland is all outdoor. For us piglets we have decided to visit Everland instead as we were told that there are more beautiful flowers to see there in Everland. Flowers ... piggy love flowers ... haha !
So now the most important question. How to get there ? There is actually two ways to get to Everland.
- Take subway to Gangnam Station. Exit 10
- Walk straight for around 300m to the bus stop in the middle of the road.
- Then take 5002 shuttle bus to Everland.
Instead of using route 1 to Everland, we piglets use the other alternative which is by using the subway. Taking the subway is a little bit more troublesome as we need to make a few transit before we reach the last station then we take the free shuttle bus to Everland. The good thing about taking the subway is we don't have to worry about waiting too long for shuttle bus or to worry about taking the wrong bus.
- Take the subway from any station nearest to you.
- Get to Giheung Station on Bundang Line.
- Then transfer to Giheung Station on Everline.
- Go to Jeondae Everland Station.
- Once you are there, look for the footbridge which is connected to the station to cross the road as photo below.
View From The Bridge
- Cross the road and take the free shuttle bus to Everland.
Everline Station : 05:30 am to 11:30 pm
Everland : 9:30 am to 22:00 pm (Depending on date, the operating hours changes everyday)
Everland Ticket Counter
The photo above show the ticket counter for Everland, but ! if you are a foreigner, you need to go to the special tickets counter for foreigners. There is less people lining up there and the worker at the counter can speak English. So how to find the foreigner tickets counter ?
- First, look for the normal tickets counter as photo above.
- Then, walk straight through then turn right.
- After you turn right, walk straight until you see the foreigner tickets counter in front of you.

Entrance Of Everland
Everland Is Full Of Flowers
At the time during our visit, Everland is having Tulip Festival, that is the reason why there are so many different types of tulip flower with different colour there.
There is still other event being held in Everland but due to rain there is a few show like the fire works and parade were canceled.
Everland is divided into few zone :
- European Adventure
- Magic Land
- American Adventure
- Global Fair
Every zone has it own attraction of rides, souvenir stores, restaurant or cafe.
Finding food is not hard in Everland but the one thing that we feel weird is, there is so many ice cream stall here even though the weather is so freezing cold for us .. ! haha .. how can anyone still eat ice cream at such a cold weather ? haha !
There is also cable car in Everland, if you would like to experience taking cable car in a theme park .. haha !
Best Attraction (Piglets Recommendation)
If you have time, visit the Zootopia, which we did not. We heard that the Zootopia is really an awesome place to see the animals .. haha !
If you are able to stay in Everland till late. Some part of Everland night view is really nice.
Visit the Holland Village in Everland.
Take the T-Express ride ! IF YOU DARE ! Warning : this ride is seriously not for the faint-hearted .. I think maybe piglets have the heard-of-steel .. that is why we try it .. haha !
