If you have ever wandered along the charming Love Lane in George Town, Penang, chances are you have passed by the ever popular Wheeler’s Café & Bar. This cafe used to be a bicycle themed café and has been part of the Penang café scene since 2014 and it continues to attract both locals and travelers with its cosy setting, warm hospitality and impressive all day menu. Though it may not be a bicycle themed cafe anymore and they even change location to Love Lane now, their food, service and environment is still as good as ever.

Nestled in a quaint pre war shophouse, Wheeler’s offers a two storey café experience that balances vintage charm with modern flair. Its rustic looks make the space ideal for reading, working or catching up with friends over a good cup of coffee. Speaking of coffee, Wheeler’s takes it seriously. Whether you are a caffeine enthusiast or just someone who enjoys a good brew, their drink menu is a delight. From house blends and single origin coffees to cold brews, there is something for everyone. They also serve teas, smoothies, fresh juices and non-coffee options for those who prefer a lighter sip.

Truffle Spaghetti Carbonara RM 29.90

Wheeler’s feature a variety of pastas, pizzas, burgers and mains. One of my favorite food to eat here is their Carbonara Spaghetti and they also serve some vegetarian options which is something nice for those who are vegetarian or would just love to try some vegetarian food. I tried their Truffle Spaghetti Carbonara which is made from Spaghetti pasta, onion, white truffle oil, smoked chicken slices, mushroom & creamy alfredo sauce, finish with egg yolk, parsley and parmesan cheese. Their Penne in Basil Pesto Sauce which is also available in Vegetarian options is also something to try. Made from Penne pasta, garlic, carrots, broccoli, cherry tomato, olive, finish with chili flakes, parsley and parmesan cheese.

Grilled Chicken Salad RM 19.90

To add some greens to your diet, you can also try their Grilled Chicken Salad which is made from Assorted fresh leafy vegetable, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, grilled chicken, strawberry fruit, walnut, parmesan cheese and balsamic vinagrette.

Quattro Formagi 4 Cheese Pizza (Vegetarian) RM 29.90

Are you a cheese lover and also a Pizza lover ? then The Wheeler's got you covered with their Quattro Formagi 4 Cheese Pizza, made from San Marzano Roma tomatoes, Cameron boconcini, provolone, blue cheese, grana padano. This pizza is packed with cheese and it is best taken hot while the cheese is still soft !

Minestrone Al Maltagliati RM 15.90

After a heavy meal, have a bowl of Minestrone Al Maltagliati is really nice, this hot bowl of soup comes with a grilled sourdough at the side. This bowl of Minestrone is made from stewed beans and tomato soup, fresh pasta sheets, spring vegetables, parmesan and pistachio pesto

Cream of Mushroom Soup (Vegetarian) RM 15.90

Other than Minestrone Soup, you can also choose to try their Cream of Mushroom Soup made from hearty blend of mixed mushrooms with cream, slices of button mushrooms, parsley oil and dukkah. Served with toasted garlic bread.
