Ever thought of going for a nice coffee with art work on it but don't feel like walking into those fancy and expensive cafe ? Well, we found one for you ! haha .. !
By looking at the photo, you will think that this is taken at a high class cafe with air condition and fancy decoration right ? well, nope ! haha ..
You can find this at Guang Xi Coffee House which is located at Bukit Mertajam, Penang. This place is actually a chinese hawker center with a lot a lot of stalls with food ranging from 'Koew Teow Sup', 'Fried Noodles', 'Hokkien Noodles', 'Curry Noodles' and a lot more.
It is a little bit hard to find Guang Xi Coffee House as there are too many stalls and a few different coffee house selling drinks, plus the place it kinda like hidden behind a temple and this sign board is placed inside the coffee house. So here is what we can do for you to make it easier to search for this coffee house.

If you look at the map and the address, Guang Xi Coffee House is actually locataed at Jalan Pasar which is one street away from Jalan Datuk Ooh Chooi Chong. When you are driving through Jalan Pasar you will pass by a chinese temple name Pek Kong Cheng.

The photo above is the Pek Kong Cheng temple, if you see at the side, there is a small road with a lot of hawker stall, walk along that road until the end then turn left and you will see Guang Xi Coffee House on your right with a Hokkien Noodle stall right in front of Guang Xi Coffee House.

The Hokkien Noodles tested normal but the coffee taste nice. This place is always crowded. We have been here several times and each time we are here we will need to wait at least 10 to 20 minutes just to get a table if lucky. The noodles from the hawker stall is served very fast but the coffee is really slow, sometimes it takes up to around 10 to 15 minutes for our coffee order to come.
