Ha Ha Siu Pan Mee @ Chai Leng Park, Penang

By : Chha

Ha Ha Siu Pan Mee has finally made its way up north from Selangor and is now in Penang ! Well, you read it right, Ha Ha Siu Pan Mee is not just a single Pan Mee shop in Penang but with other outlet in Selangor as well. Ha Ha Siu Pan Mee opening up in Penang is kinda like a good news for us because it add another place for us to eat at, haha ! Penang already have a few Pan Mee chain eating place, well we will see how this new one rank up .. we are not going to compare but will just give you an overall review of the Ha Ha Siu Pan Mee.

On a first glance there is nothing special about this place, the place is clean, not a big place and the place is full during peak hour. When we browse through the menu looking for food to eat we saw this.

The seven different colour of Pan Mee that we can choose from, it is kinda new for Pan Mee. We tried those different colour of Ramen before but this is the first we saw for a Pan Mee. We can also choose the different size of Pan Mee. Those colour for the Pan Mee is made of safe and healthy food like pumpkin, spinach, coriander, beetroot and purple cabbage there is where the Pan Mee get its colour.

Century Egg Dumpling Pan Mee (Dry) RM 9.00

Oh no, we did not order the different colour of Pan Mee instead we order set meal from the menu, haha ! Set meal include a bowl of Pan Mee and a cup of drinks or dessert. The Century Egg Dumpling Pan Mee is tasty, the soup and dumpling taste nice.

Lat Jiu Pan Mee (with Kampung Egg) RM8.50

If you can see the Lat Jiu (Chili) in the bowl, it is really spicy, we sweat as if we just finish running a marathon. The meat, the egg and the 'ikan bilis' mix well together making it yummy ! haha .. its good ..

Fried Pork Pan Mee (Dry) RM9.00

The Fried Pork is kinda stiff but tasted good.

Ginseng Soup Pan Mee RM9.90

We don't really know what is the full name for this bowl of Pan Mee but we can only recall that it is ginseng soup. The soup tasted normal and the ginseng in the soup does not taste strong, just very mild.

The dessert here comes together with the Pan Mee as a package. We did not order any drinks because we wanted to try how the dessert here taste.

Bubur Cha Cha

Pumpkin Sago

We are not really a fan of very sweet food so this makes the Pumpin Sago tasted ok for us.

There are 3 types of chili that you can choose from. Every bowl of Pan Mee that we order will come with another different type of chili and if you are really good at eating chili, you can try it, haha ! because it is really spicy, none of us are able to continue eating after the first try, haha !
