Kek Look Tong Cave @ Ipoh, Perak

By : Chha

When people tell me about Ipoh, the first thing that comes to my mind is the caves and mountains. I know Ipoh have more that what it looks but not being a local in Ipoh is kinda hard for me to visualize otherwise than to think of caves and mountains, haha ! There is this place call the Kek Look Tong Cave in the area of Gunung Rapat in the south of Ipoh.

Kek Look Tong Cave is something like a chinese temple inside a cave. It is not a very deep or huge cave, to me, it looks like a tunnel through a mountain. Why ? Here you see ..

The Entrance

The Exit

The entrance and the exit is like in one straight line, so that is why it looks more like a tunnel to me, haha !

I just spend around an hour time in Kek Look Tong Cave, there are a few miniature statue and sculpture inside the cave to see.

At the other end of the cave in which I call it the exit, haha ! There is a garden with a lake, I did not walk down to the garden.

There are some stalactite and stalagmite on the cave.
