Dai You Bin Restaurant has been operating in Sungai Petani for many many years starting from just a small shop house type of Dim Sum house to a big restaurant now. Dai You Bin Restaurant have been serving many delicious Dim Sum and is adding more and more different type of food to their menu list. I heard people talking about Dai You Bin Restaurant, it is like a must try Dim Sum Restaurant when visit to Sungai Petani, Kedah. So, I went ! Before i write any further, i would like to introduce their very special Curry Bun which i love the most !
This Curry Bun is special because the outer layer of the bun is really crunchy but the inside part of it is super soft ! Special and tasty. If you dip the bun into the curry, it will soke up all the curry making it even more tasty. This particular Curry Bun is made famous by their chef Master Choo and was featured in Master Choo Kitchen as well.
Lately, this little yellow salted duck egg bun from Hong Kong is becoming really famous in Malaysia and they have it here in Dai You Bin Restaurant. The salted duck egg bun taste special, haha ! The filling is really salty, haha ! i like this ..

Now for their Dim Sum. I like their Shu Mai very much, it is tasty.
If you are interested on trying some fried food then there are some available for you to choose from too at Dai You Bin Restaurant.
Even some egg tart to try on, maybe ?
Rice Noodle Roll or famously known as Chee Cheong Fun here is just average.
Most of the food here is tasty, just a few which is not really up to my taste, well, taste is really people depended, it is all up to what you like and enjoy eating. For me, i feel maybe that is the reason why Dai You Bin Restaurant is so famous because of their good taste food. One thing i dont like is their cleanliness and the environment of the restaurant.
