Sun Vegetarian Cuisine @ Bay Avenue, Penang

For all vegetarian out there, here is another post from me, for you .. haha ! There is this vegetarian shop now at Bay Avenue, Penang. Sun Vegetarian Cuisine is strategically located near to Queensbay Mall, Penang and it is not hard to find. The place is big and is brightly lit at night, so if you are heading the right direction, you wont be able to miss this place.

I am in love with this place the moment i walked into Sun Vegetarian Cuisine. The decoration is simple and classy, haha ! It is brightly lit and the colour combination of the interior is perfectly match (well, that is my opinion), hehe !

Sun Vegetarian Cuisine also have one private dining area for customers up to 4 pax.

In terms of environment, this place is comfortable to dine in. The waiter that serve me my meal is also good and is willing to patiently recommend nice food to me base on my taste.

Kitsune Udon RM 13.90
(Udon Soup With Seasoning Bean Curd, Tempura Flake, Seaweed And Leek)

The Kitsune Udon tasted a little bit bland and the soup is not showcasing a very strong taste but for me, it is still acceptable.

Seaweed Fried Rice RM 12.90

(Stir Fried Rice And Green Capsicum, Carrot, Fresh Mushroom wrapped with Nori)

The moment the waiter place this plate of Seaweed Fried Rice on the table, the smell of the delicious Seaweed is so strong that it makes me droll, haha !

Seaweed Fried Rice size look small but the rice is tasty but i would prefer if the outer layer of seaweed is not so thick because the thick layer of seaweed is making it hard to be cut open, haha ! There is nothing wrong with the thick layer of seaweed, it is just my personal preference, hehe !

Cream Of Pumpkin RM 7.90
(Richest Creamy Homemade Pumpkin Soup Broth Thinned With Milk Topped With Sweet Pea And Sprinkles Of Parsley)

Cream Of Pumpkin soup is lovely, the pumpkin taste is just right, not too thick and not too mild .. taste awesome !

Spicy Sze Chuan Soup RM 9.90
(Slice Of Carrot, Coriander Leaf, Black Fungus Red Chili, Bamboo Shoot, Silken Tofu, Dry Wakame served with Black Vinegar Sauce)

One sip of the Spicy Sze Chuan Soup is enough to make me sweat ! haha .. it is so spicy .. actually too spicy for me .. but it taste good.

Genmai Tea RM 2.00
(A Green Tea Combined With Roasted Brown Rice)

Sun Vegetarian Cuisine is really creative and making different type of vegetarian food adding variety for vegetarian out there. This makes eating vegetarian food more interesting and fun, haha ! At least now vegetarian is not just about vegetables only, we now can choose a lot of different dish to eat. Sun Vegetarian Cuisine also serve various types of Sushi and Salmon, i know this sounds weird to have salmon in vegetarian restaurant but if you are as curious as i am on how the vegetarian Salmon taste like, you can try it out at Sun Vegetarian Cuisine !
