In terms of location, Arang Coffee is kinda hidden from those busy traffic of Penang Island. It is located at a place where not many people will notice unless you have heard of it before or somehow you read it on other people's blog, haha ! Well as for me, i come to know about Arang Coffee from a friend.
Arang Coffee is located in Bayan Lepas Penang, along the shop lots right beside Olive Tree Hotel. If you can find Olive Tree Hotel then you will find Arang Coffee.
The thing i like about Arang Coffee is the environment here. The place is really comfortable to dine in. Service is good, you will have to make order and pay at the counter before your food is served. Decoration is simple and one side of the cafe is design with glass windows, i can just look out at the street through the glass window and feels like as if i am by the road side enjoying my cup of coffee while actually being inside Arang Coffee, haha ! It is so nice.
Double Trouble RM 24.00
(Aglio olio + grilled boneless chicken thigh + mushroom gravy + salad + corn on the cob)
The pasta they use for their Aglio Olio looks like Pasta Linguine which is one of my favorite pasta and this makes me more interested on trying their Double Trouble dish, haha ! Grilled boneless chicken thigh that comes with it is tasty too. The chicken is soft and the mushroom gravy is perfect on the chicken. Both pasta and chicken match well together. It feels like as if i am eating two different food in one plate, haha !
Salted Caramel Latte (Hot RM 9.90, Cold RM 10.90)
The ice cream on this cup of coffee make my day, haha ! i just love having coffee with ice cream. What else can me more satisfying than this, haha ! Salted Caramel Latte here is awesome .. !
Arang Coffee also serve cake at the counter, you can just walk to the cashier area and choose the cake you want. I did not try their cake, probably next time !
