Eco Wellness Sanctuary which is located along Jalan Magazine in Georgetown, Penang is an Organic Family Wellness Centre which specialize in exclusive massage therapies and spa products that not only regenerate the skin but also impart a profound sense of well being to spirit and mind.
Many people are living a healthy lifestyle recently by taking care of their diet and exercising but that is just in terms of what is inside your body. You take care of your diet so that you give enough nutrient to your body, you exercise so that you can stay active but how about your physical body and mind ? Eco Wellness Sanctuary does just that ! Why not spend a couple of hours at Eco Wellness Sanctuary after a hard days at work, to loosen up those tense muscle and clear your mind.
I like how Eco Wellness Sanctuary is being decorated inside. The building itself is a make over from an old Heritage building of Penang while preserving the original Heritage touch, Eco Wellness Sanctuary turn this place into a very comfortable and classic look wellness centre.
Eco Wellness Sanctuary is not a very big place but i like how this place is well organize and they have many different rooms to accommodate their patron. If you are there alone and wish to have some private session to yourself then you can choose the 1 people room, if you are there as a couple then you can choose the 2 people room but if you are there with friends or family, you can always take the 3 people room. Anyway, the facility available there is to suit your convenience.
The package that i took during my visit there is the Body Therapy - Aromatherapy Massage, Herbal Compress and Organic Face Therapy. The masseur who attended to me is really good and knowledgeable at what she is doing. I really enjoy my session here at Eco Wellness Sanctuary, the Therapy was great as it really helps me relax my body and i really like the music they played. It is not only music but they play sound of nature, like sounds of birds chirping, sound of the wind blowing and the sea. I felt asleep few times, haha ! It was really relaxing and i love it when the masseur did the Herbal Compress. The heat from the Herbal Compress loosen my muscle and the soothing smell of Herbal is calming for me.
Body Therapy - Aromatherapy Massage
The Aromatherapy Massage is a Body Massage by using the Massage Oil by Ecowell Organics, a Swiss Certified Organic Skincare product. Ecowell’s Massage Oils contain Organic Jojoba Oil and Organic Sesame Oil as its bases which are highly absorbent and absolutely ideal for sensitive skin without leaving any residue. This carefully selected luxuriant, premium base oils are nutrient rich skin foods with a host of benefits ranging from improving blood circulation to leaving skin healthier, moisturised, younger and detoxified.
The Ecowell Formula 5 Massage Oil that i use contain 5 different ingredient in it, which are Lavender, Peppermint, Jojoba, Eucalyptus and Sesame Oil. Ecowell products are available for purchase from Eco Wellness Sanctuary.
Herbal Compress
Herbal Compress Therapy is actually done by using the Herbal Compress where Herbs are wrapped up in thin cloth and it is heat up to make it hot and bring out the goodness of the Herbs wrapped in it. Herbal Compress herbs come from Malaysian traditional healing herbs from our very own rainforest.
Organic Face Therapy
Is done by applying Cleansing Milk, Cleansing Soap, Toner, Rose Essential Oil Massage Facial, Face Mask, Toner and Eye Cream depending on skin type or condition. Gentle strokes along the head, face and neck. When performed regularly its benefits include unclogging pores, reducing blemishes, preventing wrinkles, preventing sagging facial muscles and provides holistic benefits for radiant, healthy skin. Achieve a younger appearance, reduced age spots, fewer wrinkles and an improved, vibrant complexion.
All the product used and sold here are imported, Swiss-Formulation and CERTIFIED organic (Ecowell).
After my therapy session, i even get a cup of nice ginger tea to drink ! How cool is that ? haha ! Service here is good, people are friendly, environment is nice and calm.
