Hoshino Coffee | 星乃咖啡店 @ Queensbay Mall, Penang

Founded in Japan, Hoshino Coffee | 星乃咖啡店 is now in Malaysia. Opening two outlet in Penang only in one year time, Hoshino Coffee is taking over Penang by storm ! One is located in Queensbay Mall while the other one is located in Gurney Plaza.

I like the environment here in Hoshino Coffee, Queensbay Mall, Penang outlet. Though founded in Japan but this restaurant interior design does not look like one, haha, I like it because it looks classy with some western touch to it, haha !

There are a lot of food to choose from their menu but most of it are more to western food with toast, spaghetti, rice and paella.

Mentaiko Carbonara RM 32.90

My favorite food here at Hoshino Coffee, I would say is this plate of Mentaiko Carbonara. It is actually made from Angel Hair Pasta, the Carbonara is not very creamy making tasty in my opinion, I like it !

Vanilla Souffle with Chocolate Sauce RM 15.80

I don’t really know how to eat this Vanilla Souffle, haha .. instead of pouring the Chocolate Sauce onto the Vanilla Souffle, I cut it into pieces and dip it into the Chocolate Sauce, haha ! It takes approximately around 20 minutes to get the Vanilla Souffle ready and there are three type of Souffle that you can choose from where is the, Vanilla Souffle with Custard Sauce or Chocolate Sauce and Matcha Souffle.

Japanese Milkcoffee RM 13.10

Japanese Milkcoffee is serve with extra milk at the side, just in case you would like to add more milk to the coffee. You can also choose whether or not to have syrup with the Milkcoffee, there are three type of syrup to choose from, Caramel, Chocolate or Honey, if you add syrup the price will become RM 14.00. Food here is tasty, I like how they mix Western and Japanese food together to make the food more interesting to try on, haha .. Environment is nice and service is good too.
