Here at Se-Petang D' Vouk, guest can experience and taste Penang hawker food in a traditional setting, in a way, to dine like the locals in Penang.
This weekly Wednesday affair happen from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm, offers authentic cuisines at affordable prices, which is as low as RM 2.50 nett. Be treated to an array of stalls where you will find favorites such Vouk Hotel Suites' locally acclaimed Char Koay Teow by their award winning, Head Chef. Guests can choose to feast on flavourful Popiah Basah or a must try, Yu Char Kuih with Kopi O or Teh Tarik from their Gerai Pak Bard. All the stalls here are set up in an open space setting with plenty of tables and chairs spread out to accommodate as many visiting guest as possible, to welcome guest to a comfortable and fun hawker style dining experience at Vouk Hotel Suites.
And to top off the delectable dining experience, sugary delights awaits to satisfy any sweet tooth such as Ais Kepal that will surely be a win with children or Kuih Dangai, among others. Be spoilt for choice with a wide variety of biscuits boasting 6 varieties from Biscuit Kering Uncle Fat. There are also traditional favourites such as Apom Balik from Apom Balik Warisan Ibu among other will evoke memories of one's childhood. Some of these food, like the Apom Balik, Char Koay Teow and many more are serve hot as per order, guest can even see the Chef in action at their stalls.
Other signature stalls include Economical Fried Noodles and the all time Malaysian favourite, Nasi Lemak. Not forgetting the Satay stalls which serve both Chicken Satay and Beef Satay. Se-Petang D' Vouk is like a one-stop area for all Penang hawker food. The wide variety of food serve here will make you spoilt for choice.
A little throwback to all the things we Malaysians used to do as kids, Vouk Hotel Suites specially allocate a simple game space where guests can look forward to playing with traditional games such as Batu Seremban or Congkak. Guest can also exhibit their skill at Skipping Rope, Sepak Takraw or Sepak Bulu Ayam. In conjunction to Vouk Hotel Suites community giveback, Persatuan Tongkat Putih Pulau Pinang is invited to be part of the Se-Petang D' Vouk event. Persatuan Tongkat Putih Pulau Pinang are a registered association that serves the OKU with a noble aim. Guest can end the evening with a relaxing foot and hand massage from the Persatuan Tongkat Putih Pulau Pinang and also in a way to show support to Persatuan Tongkat Putih Pulau Pinang with their event at Se-Petang D' Vouk.
