This little cafe which is located along Carnavon Street in Georgetown, Penang is a modern looking cafe with comfortable seating place. Though it is not a very big place but it is good enough for a dine in to try out their food while hanging out with family or friends.
Here at Sugar Tang | 糖书阁, they serve food ranging from Sushi, Salad, Rice Don, Tea and Coffee. It is more to like a Japanese fusion kinda of cafe where you can also find Kimchi Fried Rice too, like the one i tried.
Volcano Rice RM 19.90
The Volcano Rice is a Kimchi fried rice with smoked duck. The taste of the Kimchi is not very strong and it is not very sour or spicy, it goes well with the egg and fried rice. It is appetizing and the serving portion is not too big, just right for one person.
Salted Egg Curry Don RM 19.90
I like their Salted egg curry serve with 3 pieces big fried chicken. The curry is the Japanese style curry which is not too spicy. The fried chicken is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Fire Sugar RM 14.90
This cup of coffee is the Fire Sugar where a Lavender cream on top with brown sugar on top and they torch it with fire burning the layer of brown sugar at the top.
