As Malaysia is now in the Recovery Movement Control Order, it means that we are allowed to 'Ke Sana Ke Sini' and to dine in at restaurant or cafe, haha ! That is exactly what i did when i found out that there is this Biscotti Cafe here in Penang which is located somewhere along Beach Street.
Biscotti Cafe is something like a dessert cafe, serving dessert and some small bites food ranging from Bread Platter, Finger Bites to variety of Cute Cakes ! Yes, you read it right, Cute Cakes .. Some of the Cake Design here is really cute.
Baby Mouse Cheesecake RM 23.00
Baby Mouse Cheesecake here is not only cute but it is tasty too. If you want something cute for your instagram and yet taste good eating it, then this Baby Mouse Cheesecake is the one to go. The Cheesecake is soft and flavorful, there is some sour after that making it very appetizing. The Mouse itself is made from Chocolate, it has a slightly bitter taste complimenting the Cheesecake well.
Mango Shortcake RM 20.00
If you would like to load yourself with more cakes, Biscotti Cafe also have a lot of Fruits Cake that you can choose from, of which i did, haha ! I ordered their Mango Shortcake, which is another tasty piece of cake to look out for. The Mango in it is sweet and there is a layer of tiny crunchy pieces of biscuits in it. Other than Mango, there are few different other fruits cake available. The other fruits that i notice is their Watermelon Cake which a big junk of Watermelon in the middle of the cake. This will be on my list of cake to try next ! haha ..
Eggs Benedict RM 23.00
The Eggs Benedict is a combination of English Muffin and Egg Benedict. It comes in a medium serving, not too big not to small, just enough to fill your tummy so that you can try other tasty food Biscotti Cafe got to offer.
The Eggs is cook in a way where the outer layer is fully cooked but the egg yolk inside is still liquid making it oozing out the moment i cut it, looks so mouth watering, haha ! I like this plate of Eggs Benedict, the vegetables is fresh, meat is tasty but a bit hard and the Muffin is pack on the inside not the fluffy type.
Environment here is nice and comfortable but there is limited seating place as Biscotti Cafe is not a huge place. Service is good and food is tasty !
