Ciak Rooms @ Rome, Italy

Visiting Rome, Italy may take few days as there are many place in Rome that is interesting and full of rich history. Finding a comfortable place to stay and rest for the night is important. During my visit to Rome, Italy i stayed at Ciak Rooms Guesthouse. Finding accommodation at Rome is not hard as Rome is a very famous place and there are plenty of accommodation to stay in but finding a suitable one is important. I end up choosing Ciak Rooms Guesthouse is because of its location which is near to a Pizza Restaurant and also to the Commuter Station. Ciak Rooms Guesthouse has two type of room which are the Dormitory and also the Private Rooms of which both are located at different location. This is what confuse me at first. Using Google Map i walked all the way to the Dormitory location later to find out that the Private Room is at different location which is around 200 meters away.

Getting to Dormitory :

GPS Coordinate : 41.883280, 12.508075

Take the Commuter to San Giovanni Station (Green or Red Line)
There are multiple exit at San Giovanni Station so look the the exit along Via Magnagrecia street and you will see the DOPPELGÄNGER man clothing store on your left.
Walk straight and take the second turn right into Via Veio street.
Walk for about 100 meters along Via Veio street and Ciak Rooms Dormitory will be on your right.

Getting to Private Room :

GPS Coordinate : 41.882239, 12.508926

Take the Commuter to Re di Roma Station (Red Line)
Look for the exit along Via Cerveteri Street. If you exit the station and you are facing a park then turn around and walk the other way along Via Cerveteri Street, else just walk straight.
Walk straight for about 300 meters then turn right into Via Gabi Street which is the second street away from the Commuter Station.
Walk straight until you reach the second junction then turn right.
Walk for another 50 meters then you will see the exact same entrance as the photo above on your right, that is Ciak Rooms, just next to a Pizza Restaurant.

Honestly finding either one of this place is really hard, i was lost several times looking for either one of it. So to make things easier, you may try to use the GPS Coordinate provided here in this post.

The one i stay in is the Private Room type. It is actually an apartment located on the ground floor just right beside the elevator with two secured door, one the entrance to Lobby and the other into the Apartment. The guesthouse here is not very big but is well organize and comfortable. There is only one common toilet but no worry as there are only three rooms in one apartment of which one of the room has a private toilet so the wait time to use the toilet is very minimal. There is a living room big enough to put a small sofa and a cupboard. The bedroom here is clean and comfortable with clean towel provided. This place is well maintain.

Ciak Rooms Guesthouse has a fully functioning kitchen with some basic cooking utensils available, plates, fork and spoon for eating and cup for coffee or tea. I did not cook but i bring food back every night for dinner during my stay here. It has a comfortable table and chairs at the kitchen for dining. I love my stay here and would recommend it to anyone who visit Rome. There were some misunderstanding between me and the owner about the time of check in that almost cause me not able to check in on the day of my arrival. I told the owner that i will arrive at 12.00 am which mean at 12 mid night but the owner misunderstood my meaning and thought that i will arrive at 12.00 pm which mean at 12 mid day. So do take note on the different in time understanding.
