Back by popular demand, the famous Afternoon Tea at Macalister Mansion is reintroduced to celebrate this Pink October 2020. The leisurely tea time affair themed in pink further crusade for Breast Cancer awareness and raise funds for the needy cancer patients.
Through this campaign, women are reminded to do regular self-check and mammograms for early detection, which could save their lives. Meanwhile, the fund raised from the Afternoon Tea will be channelled to Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital to subsidise those who need financial aid for treatment.
Join the hotel’s lifesaving mission by supporting its Afternoon Tea, featuring delicate savouries and sweets and a pot of TWG tea. Prepared by the culinary team of Restaurant Blanc, a fine-dining French-Asian restaurant housed in the mansion, patrons get to enjoy these unique treats created by the talented chefs.
From the list of savouries, satiate your tastebuds with the invention of the Scallop 'Cheong Fun' with Lemongrass Lime Soyu and Frisee Salad, Deep-fried Truffle Egg Sandwich, Wafu Style Chicken Skewer and Scallion Scones with Cheese Spread. Followed by the confectionery of Pink Guava Lollipop for a refreshing sorbet, Lychee Rose, Raspberry Cheese Panna Cotta, Strawberry Pate Choux and Cannoli with Chocolate Ricotta, these sweets will definitely lift the mood further. Enjoy the chatter while sipping on the TWG tea that comes in a pot with the choices of Moroccan Mint, Jasmine Green Tea, Earl Grey, Chamomile and Oolong. Or, simply add on a glass of rose wine to make the session even more pampering.

Reopened on 1st October 2020, Macalister Mansion now featuring refreshed 8 guestrooms, lobby, reception area, upstairs landing area with a new reading corner, a beautifully transformed poolside garden and pool bar as well as a newly added function room that can seat up to 45 people. Available from Tuesday to Sunday, 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, the Afternoon Tea is priced at RM 128.00 for two persons. Add on rose wine at RM 30.00 per glass. The prices quoted are subject to 10% Service Charge. Meanwhile, 10% proceeds from the Afternoon Tea in October will be channelled to Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital, this includes any events or meetings held in the hotel’s new function room with the Afternoon Tea menu for the tea break and refreshment.
