Been seeing many people posting picture of this somehow kinda hidden new place in Penang. There is this pink colour kind-of vending machine which turns out to be a door that lead to a beautiful cafe with everything in pink. Well, this is kinda like what this is. A korean look a like theme cafe in the heart of Georgetown Penang.
This normal looking vending machine is actually a door that opens up to a nice cafe name Dear You 친애하는 당신 that serve some simple food and drinks with nice comfortable environment. Every corner of Dear You is instagramable thanks to its soft nice pink colour.
Since this place is new, i didn't know what to expect and neither do i know what to order. So i ended up letting the waitress introduce to me their most ordered food and then just randomly pick from there. So here is what i get to try during my visit.
Savory Soulmate RM 45.00
I order what is call as their Savory Soulmate set meal, which is recommended for two person but i can finish it by myself. It is serve with four pieces of fluffy milk loaf. The milk loaf is fluffy in deed and it goes well with the mushroom soup as I mix everything together, wrap it up and stuff everything into my mouth, haha ! There are also Egg, salted butter, salsa spread and potato salad that comes with the set. For me, i personally love the Potato Salad, mushroom soup and the fluffy milk loaf. To make things more interesting, with every set ordered, they actually provide a small manual grill for you to toast your bread on it. This is interesting and I almost burn the whole thing, haha !
Beary Cute RM 18.00
Interesting enough, the waitress also introduce me the 'Beary' Cute drinks that is available here in Dear You. It is made from sweet milky blend of banana and strawberry. The strawberry cube actually comes in a very cute bear form. You pour the strawberry and milk onto the bear and see it slowly melt away, haha ! The mixture of strawberry and banana taste too, not too strong and has some milky taste to it.
