With more and more people are going vegetarian, there are more and more restaurant and cafe that pop up in Penang which serve vegetarian food. I must admit that those vegetarian restaurant and cafe in Penang are serving really tasty food but their price are slightly more expensive too, though the taste are worth the price we pay but it is so hard to eat such expensive food daily. So i found this affordable yet nice place to eat vegetarian food in Jalan Sungai Dua, Penang. Yuan En Vegetarian is a small place with limited seating place but they serve many different vegetarian food.
Yuan En Vegetarian sever both lunch and dinner, there you can find different dishes that you can mix and match just like the economy rice else where except it is all vegetarian here. You can have it with or without rice. During lunch time they also have some noodles if you are early.
Dishes and food here change almost everyday, depending on the chef. You might get different types of vegetables everyday so that things does not gets boring if you dine in there everyday.
At night, you may also look into their menu. They serve variety of dish. You can choose to order ala cart dishes or set meal that come with either rice or noodles.
I like their food here, i may not be as fancy as those you find in restaurant or cafe but the taste of their food here is decent. In terms of service, their employee there are friendly thought it may not be as classy as those service you get from high class restaurant but its ok.
I come back here often for a simple vegetarian meal. A filling yet satisfying one as always.
