Located along Jetty35 潮人居 which is in Pengkalan Weld, Georgetown, Penang there is hidden a 潮人 Concept Stores. We may know many different concept store that is available elsewhere but what makes 潮人 Concept Stores a unique one is the traditional Han Fu fashion and design that they are showcasing in this store. The owner of this place has a wonderful idea of bring back some traditional culture into this store and re-introdusing it to everyone that might have forgotten about it over time. 潮人 Concept Stores is not just a platform to remind people of how beautiful and fun is to keep our culture alive but also to educate the younger generation and to expose them to tradition that they might not know existed.
To make 潮人 Concept Stores more interesting there is actually a cafe in it which serve some simple but tasty food that allows you to re-energize yourself after a hectic day. You may spend time enjoying their food while relaxing in 潮人 Concept Stores comfortable environment. There are drinks like Peach Tea, Green Tea, Fruits Tea and also Coffee. You may also go for some dessert like Macaron and Cakes with some set meal of Chicken Burger with Egg and Fries or Chicken Hotdog with Egg and Fries and more.

The main theme that is currently available at 潮人 Concept Stores is the fashion which feature the clothing line from Sawang Store. The interesting thing about Sawang Store is that the designer himself is very well verse in local traditional clothing and fabric like Batik and Songket to name a few. The designer himself use his knowledge on these fabric and make them into modern clothing with the touch of traditional design. It is a twist of both world where traditional meet modern. This is something interesting in order to attract youngster to look at traditional clothing in a different way and have them start wearing it themselves again. That is a good prospect for the future, something to look forward to.
潮人 Concept Stores recently held a small gathering event together with 潮Ciào Cafe for Han Fu [汉服] lover to showcase their Han Fu fashion. It was an exciting and fun gathering getting to know friends with similar interest sharing thoughts and idea on how to make wearing and owning a Han Fu more interesting. This type of gathering and sharing may be first of its kind to be held here in 潮人 Concept Stores but it is definitely not the last.
The gathering were kept simple and small for easier adhere to Covid SOP. There were simple games to keep everyone up on their feet and interest up. The event ended with a sweet note with some tasty dessert from Ciao Cafe.
