Bayview Beach Resort @ Batu Ferringhi, Penang

Traveling to Penang means you will need to look for hotel. Here is an option for everyone travelling to Penang. If you talk about Bayview Hotel, there is two in Penang. One is Bayview Hotel Georgetown which is commonly known as City Bayview among Penangites. This is because it is located in Georgetown. The other Bayview hotel is located at Batu Ferringhi which is known as Bayview Beach Resort. If you are looking for a place to stay near to the Penang famous beach, Batu Ferringhi, then Bayview Beach Resort is the place to go.


Bayview Beach Resort is a big hotel and it has been operating in Penang island for many many years. During my visit, i can see that Bayview Beach Resort looks old where all the design and decoration looks like those from the 90's. It still look nice but not the modern interior design that you might expect to see.



The room that i get is really specious with very big bed. I think the bed can fit 3 person comfortably. The room have ample space for me to walk around with a little sofa beside the bed and a big television for me to watch. The design of the room also look old but it is clean and the bed is clean too. No complain on that. The air-conditioning is cold and the bed is comfortable.




Bayview Beach Resort also provide ironing board and a cloth iron inside the room, but the ironing board is dirty. For me, i personally won't put my clean cloths on it to iron. If we look at the toilet, the toilet is clean with toiletries provided. There is clean towel provided as well. The room that i get comes with a bath tub. I understand from the front desk that all room in Bayview Beach Resort has their own private bath tub which is something interesting so i try to use it but the water stopper is faulty, meaning, i can't hold water inside the bath tub for me to dip inside it, for me, i feel like its a waste to have the bath tub but not able to use it.


Bayview Beach Resort do provide some complimentary coffee, creamer and sugar inside the room. This is nice, i can have a nice cup of coffee in the morning inside my room before i head down to their restaurant to have my complimentary breakfast. There is also two small bottle of water provided inside the room.



The room that i had has a balcony which allow me to see the mountain view of Penang island. It is nice to sip on a cup of coffee while enjoying the view here at the balcony, what an awesome way to enjoy life, haha !


Bayview Beach Resort has its own restaurant inside the hotel therefore, getting food inside the hotel is not hard. You can dine in their indoor restaurant or the one by the beach. For the one at beach side the environment is really nice, you can get close to nature with trees around and green grass. The food here is cooked as yo order.



Talking about Bayview Beach Resort facility there is a swimming pool, tennis court and basketball court available. The swimming pool is decent, nothing fancy. It is nice to spend some quality time at the pool with friends or family.



Beach in Penang has always been awesome, Bayview Beach Resort being next to the beach, it is really nice that i can just walk over to the beach.
