This place is said to be the longest rainforest canopy walk in the world, believe it or not, it is located in Kedah, Malaysia ! It is just 30 minute drive away from the town of Kulim, Kedah. So if you want to get close to nature and enjoy the view from 20 meters above forest level, then The Tree Top Walk Sungai Sedim is the place to go.

The entrance to The Tree Top Walk Sungai Sedim is actually located inside the Sungai Sedim Recreational Park. The park itself has a few activities that you can do, for example like camping at the river side, swimming in the river or ride ATV. Entering the Sungai Sedim Recreational Park there is an entrance fee of RM 3.00 per vehicle, this fee is actually the parking fee for your vehicle.

You can spend some time playing in the river or camping with family and friend. You may also experience the view from the Tree Top Walk which only cost RM 12.00 for Adults with MyKad and RM 6.00 for Children and Seniors with MyKad.

Looking for the starting point of the Tree Top Walk is easy. You will just need to locate the entrance and walk all the way until the end. There you will see the tickets counter and the starting point. Along the way, you will walk through a walk way of greens all around you. This is really nice and calming to be surrounded by trees.

There are of course rules and regulation that you need to follow when walking on the Tree Top Walk. For me, i personally recommend that you wear sports shoes when visiting The Tree Top Walk Sungai Sedim. Take a lot of photos and have fun !

As you walk, you will also walk cross the Sedim River (Sungai Sedim). The view there is very beautiful with blue bright sky and water flowing river below. The canopy walkway is a see through walk way, so you can actually see the river and forest below you. Bring some sunblock if you are not a fans of the sun. Though most of the walking route here is being shaded by the tall trees but in Malaysia, there is no way to completely hide away from the hot sun.
