Lighting up the spirit of Christmas while feting friends of the media. Christmas is just around the corner and everyone is busy preparing for the festive season. The Granite Luxury Hotel which is located at Georgetown, Penang is no exception on this. The Granite Luxury Hotel is preparing their hotel for Christmas to welcome all guest to their hotel with Christmas mood, with that, they are lighting up their beautiful Christmas Bunny with nice lights that in turn, lift up the Christmas mood for everyone visiting The Granite Luxury Hotel.
The festive season at The Granite Luxury Hotel in Magazine Road here officially began with its Christmas lighting ceremony. The Yuletide warmth and spirit filled the air as some 80 press members and bloggers gathered around a rose red centre piece which is a 3 meter tall Christmas bunny located in front of the hotel building. To make the occasion more meaningful, young carolers from the Salvation Home Penang Children’s Home belted out Christmas tunes.
The bunny is also significant as 2023’s Lunar New Year marks the Year of the Rabbit. The crowd gave a loud cheer when it was lighted up by M Summit Group managing director Datuk Albert Moh. With him were Group general manager Moh Wei Ren and The Granite general manager Moh Wei Ken.
After the lighting ceremony, the guests proceeded to The Mirage Pool Deck at the hotel’s Level 13 for the press night. It was a delightful evening of fun and glorious food, coupled with the hilarious antics of Michelle the emcee. As members of the Media and bloggers mingle around, there are a lot of food being serve by The Granite Luxury Hotel to make sure that all their guest can enjoy the food and be with a fully tummy at the end of the day.
To enliven the event further, games with prizes and lucky draws were also held. M Summit Group is a developer which built and managed the award-winning The Granite Luxury Hotel. This month, the hotel was awarded two Luxury Lifestyle Awards in New York City for:
1) Best Luxury Commercial Development
2) Best Luxury Real Estate Developer
In July, it entered the Malaysian Book of Records for being:
1) Tallest Automated Hotel Car Park at 71.2m
2) Highest Cantilevered Acrylic Bottom Swimming Pool at 49.5m
In June, the hotel won two Asia Pacific Property Awards in London for:
1) Best Leisure Development
2) Best New Hotel Construction & Design
