Malaysian Artisan Heritage Dulang and Live Station @ Courtyard by Marriott Penang, Jalan Macalister, Georgetown, Penang

In conjunction with this year Ramadan Courtyard by Marriott Penang which is located along Jalan Macalister in Georgetown, Penang is serving their Malaysian Artisan Heritage Dulang set menu and setting up their Live Station to serve everyone who is there to berbuka puasa this Ramadan !


This Ramadan Dulang and Live Station will be held at Penang Kitchen which is one of the restaurant inside of Courtyard by Marriott Penang. Environment here is nice and comfortable for a family or friends gathering regardless of what ever festival it is throughout the year.




Malaysian Artisan Heritage Dulang is an idea by Courtyard by Marriott Penang to bring diners here the experience of eating different food from different states from all around Malaysia. There are food from Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and more but also not forgetting our local Penang favorite berbuka puasa food. With this, diners can have many different choice of food from different states at the comfort of Penang Kitchen in Courtyard by Marriott Penang.


There are food like Assam Pedas Ekor Sapi from Melaka which is made from Spicy and Sour Braised Ox-Tail with Vietnamese Mint and Lady Finger. Kalio Ayam Data Dan Nenas originated from Negeri Sembilan and is cooked using Braised Spring Chicken in Turmeric Coconut Gravy with Pineapple. The Daging Salai Masak Lemak Chili Api from Johor cooked with Barbeque Beef Fillet Cooked in Birds Eye Chili, Turmeric, Coconut and Averrhoa sauce. Not forgetting the well known Tempeh Petai Belado from Selangor made from Stink Bean, Preserved Soya Bean Curd and Anchovies with Chili Salsa.


Now moving up north of Malaysia, diners can also find food like Gulai Ikan Pari from Kedah which is a bowl of Sting Ray Fish Curry with Baby Eggplant. If you are a rice lover then Nasi Pelangi wich recipe from Kedah will definitely get your craving fix, it is a plate of Rainbow Rice with Dried Fruit. 


Of course as Penangites ourselves, we would love to have some local Penang food and Courtyard by Marriott Penang got you covered. There are dishes like Sup Ayam Selasih Rempah Ratus made from Spiced Free Range Black Ox-Tails with Vietnamese Mint and Lady Finger and Kambing Hitam Manis made from Stew Lamb in Spiced and Sweet Soya Sauce with Potato.

Bringing food all the way from Sabah and Sarawak so that you don't have to fly all the way there to try their Puyuh Daging Lada Sarawak from Sarawak which is made by Wok- Fried Quail with Sarawak Black Pepper Sauce and also the Kerabu Angal Angal Bunga Kantan which is from Sabah and is made from Jelly Fish Kerabu Style with Ginger Flower and Bird Eye Chili.

All these food are easily available all under one roof at Courtyard by Marriott Penang during the month of Ramadan.







The serving size of the Dulang Se Menu is big enough for two person but if that is not enough for you, you may also dig into the food prepared on the spot as per order at Courtyard by Marriott Penang Live Station. There are food like Char Koay Teow, Salmon Laksa, Udang Galah Mee Curry and more. Not forgetting their carving station too where you can find Grilled Lamb Leg Briyani, Satay and more.





The Ramadan month would not be complete without some local Kuih Muih for berbuka puasa. Kuih Talam, Bengkang Ubi Kayu, Ondeh-Ondeh, Kuih Seri Muka, Kuih Lapis and more are made available during this Ramadan for everyone to enjoy.




To complete a meal, it is always nice to have some Cakes, Dessert or Fruits become calling it an end to the night. At Courtyard by Marriott Penang you can get some traditional sweet treats like Pengat Pisang or Bubur Cha Cha. Durian lovers can also try their homemade Musang King Ice Cream which is best enjoyed with Ice Kacang or Cendol.
