The Light Grand Ballroom is the perfect place to organize any types of event. The Grand Ballroom is fully equip with Audio Visual, a big stage and a big space to accommodate a lot of tables for guest or organizers to do their functions here. Fully utilizing the Grand Ballroom, The Light Hotel Penang themselves organize an Appreciation for Mothers celebration recently to appreciate all mothers for everything they have done, their love, care, sacrifice and dedication to the family.

It was a night filled with Food, Entertainment, Performance and Laughter where everyone enjoyed themselves with their loves one and mother. Everyone who attend the Appreciation for Mothers Celebration event were treated with wide arrays of food for everyone to choose from. Talking about food, The Light Hotel has their very own team of professional Chefs who are capable of preparing many different types of mouth watering dish. During the Appreciation for Mothers Celebration. The culinary team has prepared many local dish that Mothers love to eat.

Other than the Main spread of food, there are also many different stalls set up around the Grand Ballroom to give guest the many different choice of food to choose from. This is how big the Grand Ballroom is, it is big enough to accommodate many tables and chairs comfortably and yet enough space to set up individual food stalls inside it.

This is how versatile The Light Hotel culinary team is, they are able to prepare different style of cuisine depending on the event needs. Since the Appreciation of Mothers Celebration is a multi cultural event to celebrate Mothers, the culinary team also prepared some Chinese food, like Chicken Rice, Chee Cheong Fun and more. Not forgetting Malay and Indian cuisine too, a true Malaysian mix of culinary culture.

After a satisfying meal, guest who attend the Appreciation for Mothers Celebration can sit back and relax to eat some nice dessert while watching different dance and singing performance by The Light Hotel staff themselves dedicating these performance to all the Mothers attending and loves one.
