Hola, ¿cómo estás? Looking for some Mexican food here in Penang ? You found it ! La Chica is a Mexican restaurant located at Straits Quay, Penang ! Having their Soft Launch recently, La Chica is now ready to serve you the best Mexican food that you have been craving for.

The environment here at La Chica is really nice. There are a lot of comfortable seating place inside and outside of La Chica. I personally like the seating place outside as it is facing the sea. It is awesome to enjoy the sea view while eating here in La Chica with family or friends.

If you are out having some 'Me' time, La Chica also have a bar area where you can enjoy some of La Chica drinks like the Mexican cocktail, Fusion or those Classic cocktail. You can also choose to have their La Chica Especialidad which mean 'specialty' drinks like The Coronarita which is a signature flavoured margarita slushed with a bottle of corona with the flavour of your choice. You can choose to have Lime, Mango, Passionfruit, Strawberry or Peach. Drinks here are really refreshing and thirst quenching.

If you look at the menu at La Chica, there are a lot of different food to eat here. I was spoiled for choice with all the different items on the menu. There are food like Papas Fritas with choice of Peri Peri Papas Fritas or Papas Fritas Con Queso and also Antojitos Snacks. There are mains like Nachos, Tapas, Pasta, Tacos, Quesadillas, Platos de Tortilla and many more but if you are into some smaller bites food, there are Entradas like Huevos Rancheros, Bottomless Totopos, Totopos Chili Con Carne and many more.

The food here is tasty and the serving portion is big too. During my visit, i manage to try their Tacos Pescado Con Miel De Habanero, Pasta De Fajitas De Pollo, Elote, Pinchito De Pollo, Pescado Asado which is the Fish Skewers, Quesadillas Champinones Y Ternera which is the Beef Brisket and Mushroom. Some of the food name, i don't even know how to pronounced them but it just taste good !

There are not many Mexican restaurant available here in Penang that i know of and La Chica definitely make its mark here at Straits Quay. With Straits Quay being a famous place for food and beverages, La Chica is a perfect addition to this place giving guest more option of different food to choose from.
