The evening began with a star dish which is the Deep Fried Boneless Chicken with Cheese Sauce and Black Sesame. The crispy exterior of the chicken paired perfectly with the creamy cheese sauce, while the black sesame added an earthy note that tied everything together. Next on the dish was the Roasted Lamb with Black Pepper Sauce. Tender and flavorful, the lamb melted in the mouth, with the black pepper sauce giving it a bold kick. The banquet continued with Braised Sea Cucumber and Black Mushroom, Broccoli, and Cashew Nuts. This hearty and nutritious dish was a crowd favorite, combining the tender textures of sea cucumber and mushrooms with the crunchiness of broccoli and cashew nuts. As Malaysian no celebration is complete without some rice and the XO Sauce Seafood Fried Rice did not disappoint. Packed with fresh seafood and a hint of the luxurious XO sauce, this fragrant rice dish was a perfect accompaniment to the mains.

For Seafood Lover, the Seafood on Ice station offered a variety of fresh and chilled seafood. From succulent prawns to mussels, this was a treat for seafood enthusiasts.

A section dedicated to small bites featured an array of delicious snacks. Among the offerings were Marinated Baby Octopus and Jelly Fish, bursting with flavors of the ocean and the tangy and refreshing Thai Kerabu Mango. Another highlight was the Penang Lobak, a local favorite consisting of spiced minced meat rolled in beancurd skin and deep fried to crispy perfection.

For those who appreciate international flavors, the Cheese Selection provided a variety of creamy and rich cheeses. A Salad section added a fresh and vibrant touch to the meal, offering a healthy balance to the rich dishes.

A Chinese New Year celebration would not be complete without some Kuih and Chinese New Year Cookies. The dessert section began with Assorted Nyonya Kuih, a colorful and traditional delight made of glutinous rice, coconut milk and pandan. This was followed by a selection of Chinese New Year Cookies from buttery pineapple tarts to crunchy almond cookies.

A comforting bowl of Soup warmed the soul, paving the way for a platter of fresh and juicy Fruits, a symbol of abundance and vitality. To round off the evening, desserts took center stage with Osmanthus Jelly, a fragrant and light sweet treat and the ever popular Ice Kacang, a Malaysian dessert consisting of shaved ice, sweet syrup and toppings like red beans and jelly. Guest can customize the Ice Kacang themself and have fun while doing it.
