Make a wish at Pantai Redang by throwing red ribbons onto the tree next to a small temple. Whether the wish comes true or not, the tree entangled in red ribbons provides a gorgeous backdrop for photos.
Sekinchan is a small town located in Sabak Bernam, Selangor. Apart from being a lively fishing village, Sekinchan is one of the major rice producing areas of Malaysia. The vast, well-irrigated and organized paddy fields around Sekinchan produce one of the highest yields of rice in the country.
Sekinchan is often visited for its fresh seafood. There are some rice millers in the area where locally produced rice can be purchased. "The Seeds of Life", a local Chinese drama, is set here in Sekinchan. (Source). This drama is probably what makes Sekinchan famous in addition to its beautiful paddy field and the awesome beach Pantai Redang.
Pantai Redang Beach is especially lively during weekends and public holidays where the market dominates the scene. A stroll down the nice beach is really awesome after a day trip visiting the nice paddy field in Sekinchan.
