Now this is really crazy, recently i found this area in Bayan Baru which is the Arena Curve. This place is now bloomed with a lot of eating place, cafe, restaurant and shops .. This was not the case few years back. I reckon this place will be a very famous place soon in future, where people will come here for meet up, yam cha, dinner, breakfast, lunch and just hang out this area. This is like the 5th or 6th time i come to this area, haha !
Since it is going to be Christmas time soon, it is time to be merry and enjoy the festive season. I went out scouting for nice place for you all so that you all can have a nice and good dinner or even meet up with family and friend. I found the Black Door Cafe in Arena Curve and from the environment outside and inside, this place looks nice and now, they have some Christmas decoration too, not too much, just nice to bring in the Christmas mood and feel.
As Black Door Cafe is now all ready for the upcoming Christmas celebration which is coming really soon, like one month from now ? I am getting my holiday mood ready for that too, haha !
Chicken Mushroom Carbonara RM 19.00
(Spaghetti, fresh mushroom, smoked chicken slice, signature creamy sauce, garlic infused olive oil, Parmesan cheese)
I like their Chicken Mushroom Carbonara. Probably because they mix the Carbonara with Mushroom that makes the Carbonara taste not that thick which is suitable for me. With the Parmesan cheese and the mushroom mixed well together, this plate of Chicken Mushroom Carbonara taste good.
Rosemary Grilled Chicken RM 23.00
(Pan seared chicken thigh, rosemary infused olive oil, fries, greens)
Probably because i am not used to the taste of Rosemary in a Grilled Chicken, i feel that the Rosemary makes the Grilled Chicken taste weird, haha .. Though the Rosemary taste is not that strong but i still prefer a more bold features of the Grilled Chicken itself. Overall it still taste good though. I like the fries .. haha !
Wild Fresh Mushroom Soup RM 10.00
(Mushroom soup made from 100% fresh wild mushrooms together with an array of herbs. A wholesome soup with all the goodness without any preservatives or artificial flavors)
I just can't get enough of the Mushroom Soup, i like it .. if only i can have more, haha !
Food here is tasty and the environment is great too, plus, service is good ... ! A good place to add to my this year Christmas Hang Out list, haha ! Black Door Cafe is Pork and Alcohol Free.
