Coffee is famous here in Vietnam, even before we came visit Vietnam, we were told that we need to try Vietnamese Coffee here in Hanoi. So we did, here are some of the coffee we tried.
Com Pho | Rice And Noodle 12
This place is actually not specialist in selling only coffee. This is actually a restaurant selling Noodles and some other nice food but i did try the coffee here and i think the coffee here is good. I like this shop because it is unique, unlike those we can find back home, their service is good and they serve nice coffee too.

Highlands Coffee
Highlands Coffee is a chain coffee shop which can be found almost all over Hanoi maybe in Ho Chi Minh City as well but i did not notice any in Danang, probably there is some there but i did not notice. I like coffee here at Highlands Coffee, the place is like a cafe or i can say it is something like Starbucks back home. Their service is professional and they do sell coffee powder, coffee bean and 3-in-1 coffee.
Coffee here is like more to those commercial coffee that you can find else where, like coffee made from Arabica or Robusta Coffee Bean, the special thing about coffee here is that, they have localize the taste to suite the people of Vietnam this makes the coffee special for us as tourist, haha ! I like to see how they use the filter to drip the coffee into the cup ..
Phin Sua Nong | Hot Coffee With Condensed Milk 29000 ₫
Coffee here in Vietnam is always served half-cup .. and with Milk not-stir at the bottom .. so always stir your cup of coffee before drinking it, haha ! Regardless if its served cold or hot.

Cafe Lâm
Cafe Lâm is said to be the most famous Cafe in Hanoi. Cafe Lâm is one of Hanoi's oldest cafés, this slightly musty one room establishment is practically a historical monument. Its proprietor, Nguyen Lam, provided coffee and often loans to the city's impoverished artist community during the war. Cafe Lam serves Vietnamese style hot and iced coffee with thick, sweet condensed milk to a crowd of faithful regulars (Source).
I like how Cafe Lam looks, the place is small but old and classic, it gives me a feel like drinking coffee in the 80's, haha !
Ca Phe Den Nong | Hot Black Coffee 30000 ₫
I love the coffee here, it taste so different from others that i have tried before. It taste good, no wonder it is said to be the most famous in Hanoi.

Giảng Cafe
With chains coffee shop taking over Hanoi's cafe scene, ancient holes such as Giang Cafe have become revered treasures. Cafe Giang's timeworn patina is almost a bleak exaggeration of communist-era non-chic. Giang Café is humbly hidden in a small lane on Nguyen Huu Huan Street in the city’s old quarter. It may be difficult to find for visitors, but it is well worth the effort. It continues to be hugely popular among Hanoi’s coffee addicts with its special Egg Coffee or as locals here call it Ca Phe Trung (Source).
Giang Cafe is located directly opposite Cafe Lam and it is famous for its Egg Coffee and i must say the Egg Coffee here really lives up to its reputation, Good !! It taste way way much better than other Egg Coffee that i have tried here in Hanoi.

Cho Cà Phê
Cho Ca Phe was recommended to us by the Tour Guide on Viola Cruise. This place is kinda hard to find because it is hidden off the main street. We almost gave up searching for this place but then suddenly a small little shop with lots of people sitting outside the shop caught my attention. I went in to that little street to have a look and there it is .. Cho Ca Phe !!
Yet another hidden treasure of Hanoi, haha ! So what is famous here ? I have no idea .. but i love the Coconut Coffee that i order here at Cho Ca Phe.
Bac Xiu Cot Dua | Coconut Coffee 38000 ₫
I can taste the small small piece of coconut inside the coffee but i like it because the coconut is in small pieces, unlike those i tried before where the coconut come in big pieces making me need to chew before eating it, haha ! The coconut taste does not overwhelm the coffee taste which is what i like too.
