It was days before Christmas that i come to Sukkah to try out their Buffet Lunch. This place was full during a Sunday afternoon at that time as Sukkah was having their Lunch Buffet Promotion, if it is not coz of early reservation, i might not have a place to sit.
Sukkah is one of the restaurant inside of Olive Tree Hotel which is located at Bandar Sunway Tunas, Bayan Lepas, Penang.
I like the decoration inside Sukkah, the place is well designed and since it was going to be Christmas soon at that time, the place is decorated with Christmas theme. There are a lot of seating place and it is really comfortable dining here at Sukkah Olive Tree Hotel.
There are variety of food to choose from the Lunch Buffet, there is actually too many that i was spoilt for choice, haha !

I like how Olive Tree Hotel mix their main selection of food here from Chinese Chicken Herb Soup to Beef Rendang and also from Sauteed Crispy Noodles to Buttered Vegetable with Brussel Sprout, this actually gives a wide range of food for their customers to choose from and also it is able to feature the local taste of Malaysia.
I personally like their Seafood Paella Rice and Buttered Vegetable with Brussel Sprout, the rice is not too sticky and the vegetables is soft with buttery taste to it.
While at the Japanese Corner, it is really rare for me to see hotel serving the cold Zaru Soba which is my all time favorite Japanese Food and i was overwhelm when i see it being served at Sukkah.

Japanese Corner here also serve some Sushi, though not much but is good enough for me to get some taste of Japanese Food especially for having the cold Zaru Soba.
Whole Roasted Turkey with Raisin and Chestnut Stuffing

There is also a corner dedicated for serving meat like the Whole Roasted Turkey with Raisin and Chestnut Stuffing and Beef Wellington. A Chef will be there to cut it into smaller pieces for you if you wish to try on the meat here.

If you are not a meat fans, then probably the Cheese Platter might interest you, else there are more food like the Macaroni with Apple Salad, Coleslaw, Carrot with Orange and more for you to choose from.

Now let us look at the most interesting food available here, dessert, haha ! There are variety of dessert here ranging from Ice Cream, Cakes, Tarts, Chocolates, Kuih and many more.

Over all, food here in Sukkah is really nice with many different food to choose from. Environment is nice and comfortable. I like how Sukkah mix different type of food in their Buffet Lunch so that at least we can try different type of food in just one Buffet Lunch.
