The Light Hotel, Seberang Jaya, Penang is back with their Khazanah Sajian Nusantara Buffet Dinner, this time to celebrate the merriment of Merdeka (Malaysia National Day).

The Light Hotel is celebrating the Malaysia National Day with an extensive range of colourful varieties incorporating signature Malay, Chinese, Indian and other ethnics cuisines to create sweet harmonising flavours of Malaysia.

For this year Merdeka Celebration, The Light Hotel is bringing in dishes from all around Malaysia, famous dish from different states of Malaysia. The most notable dish is like the Chicken Rice Ball from Melaka, with that said, you don't have to travel all around Malaysia to have those special food, you can have it here in The Light Hotel, Penang.

Drawing inspiration from Malaysia's favourites, diners are in for treat this patriotic months as The Light Hotel team of chefs are cooking up a storm of nostalgic perennial dishes of more than 100 varieties including 6 live action stalls.

The 2 months long promotion which runs from 1st August until 30 September 2019 will features dishes with interesting names that reflect the theme for the 2019 National Day and Malaysia Day. Among the favourites are Nasi Biryani Ayam Wawasan, Nasi Dagang Murni, Nasi Kerabu Sehati, Nasi Kabuli Sejiwa, Nasi Daging Sejati and Nasi Ayam Melaka Gemilang.
