Leaving home to go other states in Malaysia to further study means to leave all the comfort of home behind and adventure into a whole new world of being independent. Sometimes things like this worries the parents or even the student them self. What ever the it is, accommodation is always the first thing that comes to mind. For many years, a student's hostel has always been just an accommodation, a place for student to stay and nothing more. In recent years, this has changed ! With the existence of MyHostel in Penang, the concept of student hostel has change and it has been taken into a whole new level of awesomeness.
MyHostel is a new kind of student living experience, one that is designed to help student achieve their social, academic and career goals. MyHostel is not just a normal student hostel for student to stay but it is a place for student to come home to an awesome living and learning community that will take their potential further. There are three location of MyHostel, where two are located at Burma Road while the other one is located at Jalan Sri Bahari. At first glance, MyHostel is a beautiful yet comfortable hostel for student to live in.
Each of the MyHostel has a slightly different theme to it. Two of the MyHostel at Burma Road has a more classy Japanese kinda of feel towards it. There are also common area for student to do their project, assignment or homework discussion together.
The rooms here are well equip and comfortable to live in. Basically student will just need to bring their begs here and they are all ready to take on the next chapter of their student's life !
The decorations here are mostly done by the student staying here, MyHostel does not hire outsider to decorate their hostel for them, instead they give the opportunity to their students staying there to showcase their talent and reward them for their hard work and talent. Here at MyHostel, they encourage entrepreneurship among their students and help prepare the platform for the student to shine.
The other MyHostel which is located at Jalan Sri Bahari is more interesting and cute with a theme of Snoopy ! Suitable for those who wanted to live in a different environment being surround by the beautiful cartoon of Snoopy ! This Snoopy theme hostel is the first in Penang by MyHostel.
This overloaded Snoopy Hostel also has its own common area for students to gather and organize their weekly activity. MyHostel communal living concept and tailor made program ensure international or outstation students can ease quickly into Penang and make lifelong friends, while helping them develop the critical skills that are wanted by today’s employers. Not only that they can develop their technical skills through their studies but also their soft skill through the programs that are organize by students staying here at MyHostel with supervision by MyHostel themself. This in a way let the students learn how to be a leader to work in a team in organizing event among themself.
As the only private student hostel in Penang, MyHostel aim to provide the best student living experience in Penang.
