二更 Clock Eleven @ Jalan Magazine, Georgetown, Penang

Many of you probably saw this sign before when driving along Jalan Magazine, Penang but how many of you actually know what it is ? Well, i only know about it recently when my curiosity kicks in and i decided to walk in to have a look.

二更 Clock Eleven is actually a restaurant. I like the environment here, with the dim interior light and comfortable seating place, 二更 Clock Eleven is kinda a romantic place with nice background music playing. There are not many fancy decoration with only some simple murals on the wall, at first impression this place already win my heart over, haha !

Now lets look at the food here ! From their menu, 二更 Clock Eleven serve Mains like the Vegetarian Tempura, Truffle Garlic Capellini, Homemade Chicken Luncheon Meat and Sausage, while from the Side dish there are some small bite dish like Truffle Seafood Chawanmushi, Salmon Sashimi, Sauced Smoke Duck and more. In terms of drinks, there are only a few drinks available like the Sour Plum Soup, Ice Lemon Tea, Honey Pomelo and few more types of Soju being serve here.

Truffle Garlic Capellini RM 14.90

This bowl of Truffle Garlic Capellini is tasty, it is made from Black truffle, garlic and angel hair pasta. The pasta is well cooked and there is some salty taste to it with some oil of which i believe is olive oil.

Homemade Chicken Luncheon Meat and Sausage RM 14.90

Another one of my favorite food here is the Homemade Chicken Luncheon Meat and Sausage. The Chicken luncheon meat is said to be homemade by the Chef here themselves. What i like about the Chicken luncheon meat is the taste it not salty, unlike those luncheon meat which come in a can. The chicken sausage is good, soft scramble egg is tasty and japanese butter rice taste like there is some mild taste of wasabi in it but i am not really sure.
