At one point of time, the Hong Kong style cafe and restaurant in Penang island has been opening like wild fire and Hong Kong 8am | 港室八點鐘 is no exception. Located at D'Piazza, Bayan Lepas, Penang Hong Kong 8am serve some famous Hong Kong dish to people around Bayan Lepas area. Though having tough competition from other Hong Kong restaurant area that area. Hong Kong 8am is able to withstand the challenges.
Macaroni with Ham Sausage Egg RM 6.90
Lets look at some of the Hong Kong food which is famous among Penangites. At Hong Kong 8am they have the Macaroni with Ham Sausage Egg, for me, this taste good, the Macaroni is well cooked not too soft and the soup that comes with it it not too salty. The Egg on top of it is just perfect.
Pork Chop Noodle RM 8.90
I am not a fan of their Pork Chop Noodle, the Pork is hard and the noodles is in small portion. There are some vegetables on the side.
Polo Bun RM 3.90
Polo Bun here is good. The one i order is empty on the inside because i don't want the butter to be there. It is a decent Polo Bun but i like the top layer, it is nice.
HK Red Bean with Milk RM 7.90
The HK Red Bean with Milk is decent too. There are a lot of Red Bean at the bottom of the cup. Overall food here is just average, service is good, clean and comfortable for dine in too.
