The holy month of Ramadan is here and in this entire month Ixora Hotel Penang has prepared a rewarding culinary experience awaits diners at their 'Aneka Citarasa' Buffet Dinner which is held at The Straits Cafe starting from 19 April to 10 May 2021 at 7.00 pm until 10.00 pm daily.
Ixora Hotel Penang kitchen team, under the tutelage of Chef Mok Tai Heng who has been with the hotel industry since 1973 and is backed with more than 48 years of culinary experience, will present a buffet spread that boasts a plethora of piquant local salads, pickles, assortment of hot dishes, desserts and free flow of drinks in three different rotational menus, this gives diner something different to indulge in everyday. For those who are fasting, there are some Kurma for you to munch on as Buka Puasa treats before diving in to the starters from the buffet.
For starters, appetizers on the spread cover an assortment of kerabu and healthy selection of ulam-ulam such as ulam raja, daun selasih, daun kaduk, daun pegaga and others. Guests with a penchant for all things spicy will be pleased with the options extended in sambal belacan kampong, cincalok, sambal air assam and sambal manga muda, these allow guests to give different flavors into their food and to spice things up.
