From the moment Hey JoJo 'boom' in social media, this place has been full with people from the first day it open. I went there few times but because of too many people, i end up coming back another day. Hey JoJo is a cafe which is located at a new shoplot area at Taman Santuari Merbok in Nibong Tebal Penang.
As i can see from all the posting in social media, Hey JoJo seems to be famous for their cakes and drinks but the is not what i tried during my visit there because i have had too much cakes recently, haha ! So i decided to go for their mains instead.
Luncheon Meat Don RM 14.90
Wanting to go for something filling, i ordered their Luncheon Meat Don and Japanese Chicken Rice. Their Luncheon Meat Don is serve with Lunchean meat in cubes and eggs with rice. The size of serving is just average and the taste is too, nothing much to shout about their Luncheon Meat Don.
Japanese Chicken Rice RM 15.90
My personal favorite is their Japanese Chicken Rice. The curry is not spicy and it goes really well with the chicken and rice. The outer layer of the chicken is crunchy and nice to eat. Overall, the service here is good and environment is nice. Probably, i'll come back for their cakes next time.
