March Fourteen Cafe @ Kampung Jawi, Sungai Bakap, Penang

By : Chha

I would say that this is a hidden gems of Sungai Bakap, Penang ! March Fourteen Cafe which is converted to a cafe from a residence house is a very nice and comfortable cafe to dine in. March Fourteen Cafe is not a big place but has plenty of seating place indoor and outdoor. This would be a nice place to hang out with family and friends.

Located in a middle of housing area, March Fourteen Cafe is hidden from the view of busy traffic making it a quiet place. Parking may be a problem here as there is actually no proper parking space unless it is parking in front of other residence houses.

Creamy Tomyam with Mushroom RM 22.00

My favorite dish here is their Creamy Tomyam with Mushroom, i would say that this is a must try dish if you are a tomyam lover. It is made from Spaghetti with a lot of Mushroom and creamy Tomyam. The tomyam taste is strong but not spicy. Though it may sound weird mixing Asian Tomyam with Western Spaghetti but these two combination mix well together.

Garlic Fried Rice Grilled Chicken RM 22.00

The taste of the Garlic Fried Rice is not that strong, i would personally prefer a stronger garlic taste to the fried rice. The sambal that comes with it is not too spicy, just nice for the friend rice and the Grilled Chicken match well with the fried rice.

Rare Cheesecake RM 12.00

The Rare Cheesecake is also something to look out for at March Fourteen Cafe. The soft and smooth texture of the Cheese is tasty plus with the crunchy layer of crust at the button is really nice to eat.

Bubble Milk Tea RM 12.00
