Rattan Cafe by The Garden @ Bayan Lepas, Penang

Nested among rows of residential houses Rattan Cafe by The Garden might not be visible to passerby in these area but it seems to be well know to many cyclist, hikers and locals in this area probably due to its location which is near to Emperor Villa. Rattan Cafe by The Garden serve breakfast all the way up until dinner. The environment here is nice, there is plenty of seating place outside but only some indoor.

Chicken Nyonya RM 16.00

Rattan Cafe by The Garden serve different types of food depending on the time of day. In the morning, they serve some breakfast set and western food. Later during lunch you may also find some local rice dish like their Nasi Biru. I tried their Chicken Nyonya which is serve with crispy fried chicken with Nyonya Sauce which is tasty and with some fries and green on the side.

Mushroom Aglio Olio RM 16.00

Their Mushroom Aglio Olio is average but at least is it not they dry type of Aglio Olio as there are some Mushroom sauce with plenty of Mushroom on it. In terms of ingredient, Rattan Cafe by The Garden is very generous with it.

Rattan Toast RM 10.00

Mushroom Soup RM 8.00

A bowl of hot Mushroom Soup to start the day is always awesome. It comes with a small piece of garlic bread on the side.

Breakfast of the day RM 17.00

Hazelnut Latte Hot RM 8.00

Overall, the food here is decent, depending on what you order, some is good and some is decent, my personal favorite is their Chicken Nyonya. Service is good and food serving is fast too.
