Traveling to India ? Looking for a place to stay ? Here is one of the best Hotel i have stayed in Bangalore, India so far. If you want to stay at an area which is peaceful and quiet then The Oterra Hotel which is located at Electronic City, Bengaluru, India is the place to be. In terms of location, The Oterra Hotel may not be the best as it is a little bit far away from the city center, this makes it hard to look for food nearby by foot but if you look at it in terms of distance, it is actually not that bad is you have transport, the problem is the traffic in Bangalore itself. For example, a 24 km drive will take you an hour to reach, that is how congested the traffic at Bangalore is. We will talk about that in another post, for now, lets talk about The Oterra Hotel !







The Oterra Hotel itself is a nice place to stay. It is a huge hotel with fully equipped amenities and facilities like the Gym, Restaurant, Bars, Swimming Pool and more ! It is also a 5 Stars Deluxe Business Hotel in Bangalore. Most of the people staying in The Oterra Hotel are here for business. With that said, this hotel is very suitable for those who are here for business as it is located near to many IT company and factories here.

Roof Top Restaurant

The Oterra Hotel has a few restaurants that serve tasty food. During my stay here, the hotel provide breakfast everyday, the food is good with a lot of different choice to choose from. What i feel is lacking for their breakfast is their variety of choice. I personally would prefer more choice on Indian food since we are in India and if you are here for a longer period of time you will start to notice that after the second or third day, the food for breakfast is starting to repeat the same food again and again. It would be nice if there is a big change on the choices of food everyday. Other than that, the food here in The Oterra Hotel is simply awesome !

Gym


The Oterra Hotel even have a fully equipped gym that even provide you with complimentary bottle water and towel ready for you to use. Inside the gym, there is a wash room for you to clean up yourself so that you don't have to walk all the way up to your room to do so.


Spa

Swimming Pool

You can also relax yourself after a hectic working day at their Aloka Spa. There is also a swimming pool if you wish to take a swim. The weather there is rather cold for me during my visit, which is around 23'c to 17'c everyday, so i decided not to dip into the pool.










Now, lets look at the room. The room that i get during my visit, is a two bed bedroom. The bed is huge and comfortable with a small sofa at the side. There is also bathtubs inside the toilet, i tried to take a dip inside the bathtubs but it does not seems to hold water in it. Taking a hot shower is nice and the toilet is specious and comfortable.



The toiletries are complete and is being prepared every day. The room service will top up anything that has been used up every day.




The room is clean and i had good comfortable sleep every night. The hotel also prepared bottled drinking water and replaced the empty bottle with new one everyday. You can also boiled your own hot water if you wish to drink some coffee or tea by using the kettle that they provide inside the room. There are also some snacks and drinks inside the mini bar but you will have to pay if you wish to eat the food from the mini bar. Do take note on this as they will charge you for this during your hotel check out.











The Oterra Hotel is really an awesome place to stay in. I enjoy my stay every day and had good night sleep. It is clean and the house keeping did a very good job in cleaning the room every day. I reach the hotel very late at night, it is in fact very early in the morning which is at 4.00 am due to crazy flight delay and The Oterra Hotel still hold my booking for me. My room check in was done very smoothly without any hiccups. Their service is very good, environment is really awesome and the room is comfy ! I would definitely come back to The Oterra Hotel when i visit Bangalore again especially when travelling to Electronic City.
