G Hotel Staff Party 2026 – Travel Around the World in One Night

By : Chha It was a night where the G Hotel family travelled around the world without leaving Penang. G Hotel celebrated its annual Staff Party 2026 on 22 September 2026 at the Grand Ballroom of G Hotel Gurney with the theme “Travel Around the World in One Night!”. The celebration brought together associates from both G Hotel Gurney and G Hotel Kelawai for an evening filled with colourful costumes, performances, food, games, lucky draws and recognition for the people who have contributed to the hotels throughout the years.

Everland @ South Korea

By : Chha Everland is a theme park located in Yongin, South Korea. A lot of people has been asking, which is better to visit when in South Korea ? the Lotte World Theme Park or Everland ? Well from what we know, Lotte World is more into indoor theme park where most of the rides are indoor so there is no need to worry about the weather if it will rain or not. Everland is all outdoor. For us piglets we have decided to visit Everland instead as we were told that there are more beautiful flowers to see there in Everland. Flowers ... piggy love flowers ... haha ! So now the most important question. How to get there ? There is actually two ways to get to Everland. Getting There Route 1 Take subway to Gangnam Station. Exit 10 Walk straight for around 300m to the bus stop in the middle of the road. Then take 5002 shuttle bus to Everland. Instead of using route 1 to Everland, we piglets use the other alternative which is by using the subway. Taking th...

Shabu Yo @ Sunway Carnival Mall, Seberang Jaya, Penang

By: Chha There is something incredibly comforting about gathering around a bubbling hot pot while slowly cooking slices of premium meat, fresh vegetables and dipping every bite into your own customised sauce creation. During my recent visit to Sunway Carnival Mall in Seberang Jaya, I discovered that the experience became even more exciting with the grand opening of Shabu Yo, Japan’s largest Shabu Shabu restaurant chain, now officially opening its second outlet in Penang.

Egg Rolles | Phoenix Egg Rolls @ Farmhouse Susu Lembang, Bandung, Indonesia

By : Chha I was visiting Farmhouse Susu Lembang at Bandung, Indonesia as i was walking around the Farm House i saw a souvenir show and went straight into it. As i enter, i smell this very strong waffle like smell, it is very aromatic and it makes me feel curious what it is because it smell so nice. So i follow the smell and it leads me to a small room where this Egg Rolles are made by using a very high tech but small machine. The machine look interesting and the Egg Rolles looks so yummy that i have to buy some to try it myself, haha ! So it did .. !

Teteru Teddy Bear Museum @ Myeongdong, South Korea

By : Chha Teddy bear is famous in South Korea, it seems to be representing love. There used to be a Teddy Bear Museum in N-Seoul Tower, now it is closed but yet they still use bear as their main attraction to represent love at N-Seoul Tower. We were kinda disappointed when we found out that the teddy bear museum in N-Seoul Tower were closed down. There is also a big teddy bear museum in Jeju Island but since we are not going over to Jeju Island, then we won't be able to visit the museum there. We have been looking, searching and finding .. haha ! for a possibility of finding any teddy bear museum around Seoul but where disappointed at first until the very last minute before our visit, we found Teteru Museum in Myeongdong and the best thing is .. it is still operating ! Awesome ! Teteru Museum in Myeongdong is not a very big museum, it is small but have cafe and souvenir shop all in the same building of 3 floors. If you are a teddy bear fans, th...
