De Pauh Garden @ Permatang Pauh, Penang

By : Chha

Restaurant De Pauh Garden operates on 1.2 hectares of land and is in the vicinity of Taman Pauh, Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam. This location is very strategic because it is close to Politeknik Seberang Perai (PSP), Headquarters Seberang Perai Municipal Council (MPSP), Police Headquarters Seberang Perai Tengah, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Penang branch and residential area that has a high density. (Source)

To me De Pauh Garden is a nice malay food restaurant. Its environment is nice and comfortable with a lot of seating indoor and outdoor. It is spacious and serve verity of food ranging from Malaysian Cuisine to Western Food, burgers, satay and drinks as well.

Nasi Goreng Kampung RM5.90

Koay Teow Goreng Pattaya RM5.90

I like the food here, it is tasty and it comes in big portion as well. I've been here few times and will definitely come back for more, haha ! Food here is HALAL

Pantai Redang | Redang Beach | @ Sekinchan, Selangor

By : Chha

Make a wish at Pantai Redang by throwing red ribbons onto the tree next to a small temple. Whether the wish comes true or not, the tree entangled in red ribbons provides a gorgeous backdrop for photos.

Sekinchan is a small town located in Sabak Bernam, Selangor. Apart from being a lively fishing village, Sekinchan is one of the major rice producing areas of Malaysia. The vast, well-irrigated and organized paddy fields around Sekinchan produce one of the highest yields of rice in the country.

Sekinchan is often visited for its fresh seafood. There are some rice millers in the area where locally produced rice can be purchased. "The Seeds of Life", a local Chinese drama, is set here in Sekinchan. (Source). This drama is probably what makes Sekinchan famous in addition to its beautiful paddy field and the awesome beach Pantai Redang.

Pantai Redang Beach is especially lively during weekends and public holidays where the market dominates the scene. A stroll down the nice beach is really awesome after a day trip visiting the nice paddy field in Sekinchan.

Restaurant Sajian Damai @ Kebun Sireh, Bukit Mertajam

By : Chha

Restaurant Sajian Damai is not a fancy restaurant. It is just a normal malay hawker stall by the road side which is located at the side of Wisma Umno, Bukit Mertajam. Not many people will notice this place as it's stall is located under a shady tree making it comfortable to dine in especially in the late evening going to night.

Restoran Taulat | Mee Thajuddeen | @ Sungai Petani, Kedah

By : Chha

Mee Thajuddeen at Restoran Taulat is said to be the best fried noodles in Sungai Petani. Honestly, i feel the same too, haha ! I've tried this countless times and the taste is still as good as ever ! Restoran Taulat used to be a small hawker stall beside the old police station in Sungai Petani. At that time, Restoran Taulat already serving awesome Mee Goreng, tasty Mee Rebus and the mouth watering Pasembur. These are the three food which i highly recommend anyone who is interested to try out the food here at Restoran Taulat. Ever since Restoran Taulat open up a proper restaurant like how they are now, Mee Thajuddeen or formally known as just Mee Goreng is used as their best dish at Restoran Taulat. If you are in Sungai Petani, this Mee Thajuddeen is definitely a must try in my opinion. The food here is HALAL

| Menara Condong | Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan @ Teluk Intan, Perak

By : Chha

PISA ? nah ! This is call the Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan, haha !

If you see the tower is not really that slanted, this is because of my bad photography skills, hahaha ! The tower is slanted for sure, but not from the outcome of my photo, so sad .. ! Anyway, if you are interested in visiting this place, here is the map location for you.

GPS Location : 4.025225, 101.019375

The Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan (Malay: Menara Jam Condong Teluk Intan) is the Malaysia equivalent of the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. It is located in the centre of the town of Teluk Intan, Perak. The tower is slanted leftward, similar to the Tower of Pisa. It is 25.5 metres tall and, from the outside, looks like an 8 storey building, though inside it is actually divided into 3 storeys.

The tower is located in the center of a square surrounded by Jalan Pasar, Jalan Selat, Jalan Bandar and Jalan Ah Cheong. (Source)

The purpose for building the tower, also known as the Clock Tower, was to store water for the locals during the drought season, in case of fire. The clock on the tower was also used to keep time. The tower was built under the guidance of contractor Leong Choon Chong in the late 19th century. However, it was claimed by a Briton, Neol Danison, and then the Japanese during their occupation of Malaysia in 1941. During this time, the tower became the Japanese’s watch tower.

After Independence, in the year 1957, the tower became an official national monument. The pagoda style structure was greatly influenced by Chinese architecture, because the majority of the population of the town at that time was Chinese. Each storey is 5 metres high and there are a total of 110 steps from the ground floor to the top of the tower.

The water tank, which is 5 metres high and 18.36 cubic metres deep, is on the third floor and is made of steel. The foundation is 13 metres in diameter and tapers to a diameter of 8.2 metres at the top of the tower.

The reasons why the tower leans are the soft ground on which it was built, as well as the weight of the water in the water tank, which causes it to lean towards the southwest. (Source)

Sakae Sushi @ Sunway Carnival, Penang

By : Chha

Sushi Sushi Sushi ! If you talk about sushi here in Penang, there are plenty of it here to try. From those famous chain restaurant to those road side stall, sushi is easily available here in Penang. So, this time, i am writing about Sakae Sushi ! Sakae Sushi is not new, i am sure most of you have tried at least once, haha .. well, i've been to Sakae Sushi countless times now, haha, but still going back for more, haha !

Genmaicha Tea

Hot tea is always the first thing to be served at Sakae Sushi, well by not taking into consideration of those Sushi moving on the Sushi Belt. Hot Genmaicha Tea is always an awesome combination for me to go with Sushi. I like the taste of the tea and you can easily refill it as many times as you like from the hot water tab placed at the table.

Sushi from the Sushi Belt is always readily available. The sushi will be on the belt moving from one place to another in a round and you can just take it any time you want. That is so much easier than making order from the menu of which you can do so as well if the type of sushi that you want is not available on the sushi belt.

Though the name is Sakae Sushi, but Sakae Sushi does not only sell sushi, they do have other dish as well. Ranging from Japanese Rice to Udon to Soba you can get in Sakae Sushi. The same goes to drinks as well. Sakae Sushi have alot of outlet all around Malaysia, you can just walk in to any for a Japanese Meal.
