As the year comes to an end, Olive Tree Hotel invites everyone to embrace the most wonderful time of the year and create lasting memories together with colleagues, business associates, family and friends at Olive Tree Hotel festive celebration where there will be a lot of awesome food being serve for everyone to enjoy.

Starting from 22 December until 25 December 2023, the Olive Tree Hotel’s merry team is set to captivate your taste buds with a diverse array of local and international Festive Buffets. Kickstart your culinary journey by indulging in Olive Tree Hotel's signature options like Chicken Scaloppini, Slow Cooker Beef Stew, Classic Italian Lamb Stew, Calamari with Spice Salt, Grilled Salmon with Coriander Salsa, Creamy Udon Noodles with Black Truffle, Roasted Lamb Tarragon Sauce, Deep Fried Prawns Oriental Pepper Sauce, Potato Au Gratin, Sauteed Zucchini with Garlic Almond, Crispy Spinach with Shrimp Paste, Baked Half Shell Cheesy Scallop and many more. All these food will be served on rotation to give you different choice of food everyday.

There will also be hot soup for everyone to try during the buffet. A bowl of hot soup is really nice to calm down the rumbling tummy.

Guest may also further indulge in the Japanese corner boasts Assorted Sushi and Maki Rolls and a Teppanyaki station with options like Chicken, Beef, Scallop, Squid and Prawn grilled a la minute. All these small bites food is a really good side dish to go with all the food from the Mains Section.

My favorite is always the Action Station where I can see the Chef in action cooking the food that I order. Here at the Action Station there will be fresh seafood being serve like Slipper Lobsters, Flower Crabs, Prawns, Mussels and Half-Shell Scallops and these seafood are cooked a la minute with your choice of gravy. There are two choice of gravy to choose from which are the aromatic Kam Heong or Creamy Mongolian sauce. These section is perfect for seafood lover to whet your appetite with Olive Tree Hotel Seafood Delight Fusion live action stall while being amaze by their Chef cooking skills right in front of you.

To give you more choice of food, Olive Tree Hotel takes the effort to set up individual stalls at their restaurant so that they can serve more food during this festive season. One of it is the Carving Station where guest can find Olive Tree Hotel's main attraction on all the buffets which is the Roasted Turkey with Raisin and Chestnut Stuffing accompanied by Gilbert and Cranberry Sauce. Complimenting this centerpiece is the Honey Glaze Turkey Square with Pineapple. This is something to look out for during the Christmas Buffet at Olive Tree Hotel, Penang.

There is another interesting stalls that guest with children should check out is their Kids Corner. This stalls are made specially for Children so that they as well can enjoy their favorite together with their parents. For the young guests, a dedicated Kids Corner awaits with favourites like Spaghetti Bolognese, Chicken Pop Corn, Sweet Potato Fries and Mini Hawaii Pizza.

Assorted Cheese Platter, Classic Waldorf Salad, Kerabu Kaki Ayam and Pesto Pasta Salad is also made available for those who would like to balance up their diet with some Salad. This touch of local food is really nice to have during a Christmas Buffet especially in Penang.

To make things more interesting, Olive Tree Hotel also set up a DIY Station where guest can have some fun DIY their very own pastries. To add to the merriment, guest can engage in entertaining activities like crafting your own Christmas Tree Chocolate Cookies and Chocolate Crunch during the buffet.

The feast concludes on a sweet note with festive desserts including Assorted Gingerbread, Strawberry Creme Brulee, Chocolate Moist Pudding, Chocolate Brownies, Rose Bandung Pudding and more. There is also Pink Chocolate Fountain available with some food like Strawberry, Grapes and Marshmallow for guest to dip into the Pink Chocolate Fountain.

The dessert are not limited to only Pudding and Chocolate but there are also Christmas Cakes like Carrot Cake, Festive Cheese Cake, Chocolate Tart, the famous Yule log, Fruit Cake and Red Valvet Cake available. These cakes are decorated with Christmas theme to give the buffet dinner a more Christmas feel to it.
