Christmas is Almost Here! Let’s Celebrate the Season of Thanks this year with family and friends at Olive Tree Hotel, Penang. Just like the year before Olive Tree Hotel set up a very big Christmas tree outside to welcome the festive season.

As the holidays are coming this is the magical time of year when hearts are full, tables are abundant and memories are made with the people who matter most. This year, Olive Tree Hotel is inviting everyone to take a moment to pause, appreciate and celebrate the little joys that bring everyone together with their heartfelt Season of Thanks celebration. There will be festive buffet lunch and dinner where Olive Tree Hotel serve some amazing array of food for everyone to enjoy while celebrating Christmas.

Looking into their buffet at the main section there are food like Karachi Chicken, Sauteed Brussels Sprouts with Mushrooms, Oriental Crispy Duck with Chef’s Master Sauce, Potato Dauphinoise, Grilled Striploin Steak with Mustard Sauce, Wok-fried Flower Crab in Pumpkin Creamy Butter Sauce and Grilled Eel Fried Rice with Chinese Celery. It is always nice to have these food from the main section where guest can mix and match what they want to eat on their plate. A mixture of Chicken, Duck, Greens and Rice give a mixture of balance diet for everyone dining in this Christmas.

Some may look at these food as a starters but for me, it is a small size food where i can just throw everything in just one mouth food and it is always nice to do that as we walk around mingle with family and friends during this festive season. Other than that there are also food like assorted canapes, cold cuts, salad bar with accompanied dressings such as Thousand Island, French, and Italian. For salad lovers, additional options include Classic Waldorf Salad, Greek Salad and Japanese Potato Salad is also available. Dive into something hot like Cream of Cauliflower Hazelnut Soup with Garlic Bread.

Instead of just focusing on just one type of cuisine, Olive Tree Hotel mix things up with some Japanese Delights by adding a variety of sushi and maki rolls. Olive Tree Hotel is really good in making their buffet interesting.

Christmas celebration is not only for adults, with that in mind, Olive Tree Hotel also prepare a Kids Corner with food dedicated to children with food like Spaghetti Bolognese, Popcorn Chicken, Twister Fries and Mini Hawaiian Pizza which will bring up the children's appetite.

The buffet also featured cheese board with a selection of condiments and also food from the carving station where they serve Whole Roasted Chicken with Raisin with Chestnut Stuffing Gilbert and Cranberries sauce and Salmon Wellington. There will also be fresh cut fruits through out the buffet session.

The best part of a buffet is always the dessert ! Treat yourself to festive delights like Christmas Tiramisu Cake, the iconic Yule Log Cake or maybe dip a marshmallow or two ! into their Pink Chocolate Fountain because holidays are for treating yourself to amazing food like these.
