Eagle Square is probably the first thing you will see when you first arrive at Langkawi. Eagle Square or locally known as Dataran Lang. Lang is the short for Helang in Malay which mean Eagle in English. Prepare to be amazed by the 12 meter tall iconic sculpture of Langkawi’s Eagle. That big bird is spreading its wing majestically and when looking up close, you will be left in awe by it. The place is perfect for checking out the scenery, taking photos and watching all the ferries plus boats roaming around. It is very peaceful scene where it is just you and the open sky accompanied by the giant Eagle.
