Metisser Patisserie And Tea Room is said to be one of the many best place for Afternoon Tea in Penang with nice environment too. Well, i like the environment here, the place looks classy and well maintained.
It is really comfortable having my Afternoon Tea here.While for the food, you can choose cake from the counter.
You can also choose the type of tea from the menu list.
The tea that i had here is name as the Blood Orange Tea. I like the taste, there is no strong traditional tea leaf taste to it but you can taste the mild orange with nice aroma to it.
While for the cake, i choose Tarte Au Citron (ala cart RM 17.00) and Trinite Du Chocolat (ala cart RM 17.00).
I like the macaroon here, it is not too sweet like those that i tried else where before .. The bread is good and the two cube of chocolate, is really bitter dark chocolate.
A set of Afternoon Tea like this cost RM 88.00. Server here is really good, the waiter explain to me in details what are every items included in the Afternoon Tea Set and how to actually eat it, which should be taken first and which is best taken with which. The way they server their customer is really good too. Even the utensils arrangement are done properly.
