Strategically located under an escalator, Dave's Deli is always full with people regardless of what day or time. When ever i am walk pass Dave's Deli, there is long queue in front of the order counter and with most of the seating place occupied.
Dave's Chicken Chop RM 20.80
I was so excited when the Chicken Chop is serve, i was already starving at that time .. First look at it, the Chicken Chop looks tasty .. But don't let the look deceive you, haha ! The Chicken Chop is not really how i expected it to taste and it also does not live up to how it looks. The outer layer of the chicken is not crunchy enough, it taste like as if this chicken is pre-cooked and the inner part of the chicken is bland.
Dave's 1/4 Roast Chicken RM 20.80
(Marinated in Dave's Deli secret blend of 8 herbs and spices. Served with mash, coleslaw, roasted vegetables and Dave's Deli 'Magic' gravy)
Now this Roast Chicken is good. I like this much more than the Chicken Chop. The 'Magic' gravy does have some Magic on it .. the gravy is tasty .. the chicken meat is well marinated .. the mash and coleslaw is good.
Hot Honey Lemon RM 5.80
This is the first cup of Honey Lemon which i can actually see a thick layer of Lemon at the bottom of the glass .. this is good .. ! In terms of taste, it is just average. Anyway, it is still acceptable for me to add Dave's Deli into my food list when i visit Queensbay Mall again next time.
