By : Chha Probably the name Huo Guo Shan Hill is not widely know by many but if i were to tell you that there is this Hill in Bukit Mertajam which is currently trending and famous among instagramers due to its 328 steps of Rainbow Stairways, then probably you will know which it is. Recently this particular stairways has been really famous and there are a lot of people from all walks of life come here to have their photo taken here. This stairway is just part of what is available at Huo Guo Shan, in order to reach this colourful stairway there are some hiking need to be done. Unaware of that, i come here unprepared.

By : Chha The now trending restaurant Taiwanese Palace is located just next to the famous Icon City in Bukit Mertajam. Taiwanese Palace is full with people dining in now, during my visit, i have to wait in line for around 30 minutes during lunch hour before i can get a seating place for dine in. This little street just beside Icon City is now filled with newly open restaurant and Taiwanese Palace is one of the restaurant located along this street.

By : Chha Honestly, i don't know how to categorize this post, is it for food or for hiking ? Anyway, this place have it both ! Emperor Villa | 帝来山庄 which is located at Sungai Ara, Bayan Lepas, Penang is a Villa which is located deep into the hill side of Sungai Ara. So you will have to do some walking in order to reach Emperor Villa and inside of Emperor Villa they do serve some food. Many people call it as hiking to Emperor Villa but for me, this is more like a normal walking to Emperor Villa. Want real hiking ? then you may check out my hiking post < HERE >.

Golden Bowl Cafetiam @ Batu Lanchang, Penang

By : Chha Start from a small simple stall in a Coffee Shop at Batu Lanchang with few simple items from their menu, Golden Bowl is now expending their business into their own shops and adding more food to their menu. Though they have shops now at places like The Promenade and New World Park but i still enjoy dining here at Batu Lanchang where it all begin, haha ! Mushroom Set RM 8.50 People say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so to skip breakfast is not recommended, therefore, head on over to Golden Bowl to grab your breakfast, if you are into something simple for breakfast, Golden Bowl’s breakfast set is suitable for you. I tried their Mushroom Set, there is Mushroom Sauteed, 1 Toast, 2 Sausage, 1 Ham and 2 Egg. For the egg, you can choose to either have Omelette, Scramble Egg or a Sunny side up. Cheezy Milky Maggie RM 8.90 Since Golden Bowl is famous for their Noodles, so their noodles here is a must try. I like their Cheezy Milky Magg

Double Good Restaurant | 好好冷气餐厅 @ Bukit Jambul, Bayan Lepas, Penang

By : Chha Double Good Restaurant | 好好冷气餐厅 which is located at Bukit Jambul, Bayan Lepas, Penang has been operating here for many years serving Malaysian Cuisine to the locals here but it seems like Double Good Restaurant is making its mark with people working around Bayan Lepas area as well, especially during Lunch time. I have heard a lot of people saying that food at Double Good Restaurant is not bad but I have never tried it until recently. Bean Curd in Thai Style (Small RM 10.00, Medium RM 15.00, Large RM 25.00)

Island Hopping Boat Ride @ Lexis Suites, Teluk Kumbar, Penang

By : Chha There are a few island around Penang Island which probably not many people know about. There are the two main and more widely known island namely Pulau Aman and Pulau Jerejak. Other than that, there are also other smaller island of which Lexis Suites Penang are giving the opportunity for everyone to visit by joining their Island Hopping Boat Ride.
