Be part of something big this weekend, may you be a fan of food, art, music or even just to spend time with friends or family, the Penang Food and Travel Spring Festival is something to look forward to. What is even more awesome is that, there are goodies bag to give away and also some luxurious lucky draw prices up for grab.

The Spring Festival 2019 which is organize by Penang Food and Travel (#pfnt) will be happening on this coming 29 March until 31 March 2019 at Design Village Outlet Mall, Penang. So mark your calendar and head on over to Design Village Outlet Mall this weekend for this awesome event. The Spring Festival is an event that aims to bring people from all walks of life together and enjoy the Spring Festival. For this year’s festival, #pfnt are providing everyone with the opportunity to enjoy drinks, food, games, live bands performance, lucky draws and workshops.

So let us take a look at some of the activities, programs and workshops that will be happening during the #pfnt Spring Festival this week.

Activities and Programs :

• Goodies Bag Giveaway :

'LIKE and SHARE' Penang Food and Travel (@pgfoodandtravel) and 'Check-In' to Design Village Outlet Mall Social Media Page through scanning QR code.

• Social Media Post Contest :

Stand a chance to win a 2D1N stay the 5-star-hotel, buffet voucher, entrance ticket to Penang famous local attraction, etc, by taking a nice photo during the event, post it on your Social Media, set the post to Public, hashtag #pfnt #pfntspringfestival #pfntsocialmediapostcontest, and check in to Design Village Outlet Mall. Five winners will be announced through our Social Media page on 8 April 2019.

• Spend and Draw :

Spend RM 10.00 in a single receipt at a booth to get a stamp. Accumulate five (5) stamps and go to the redemption counter to redeem a lucky draw chance. Prizes include 2D1N stay at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa, Golden Sands Resort by Shangri-La, G Hotel Kelawai, Buffet Voucher, attractions entrance ticket, product, etc.

• Workshops :

Brush Lettering Workshop

30 March 2019, Saturday. from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

Registration Fee : RM 100.00 nett per pax.

*Registration will including a starter pack consisting of a brush pen, practice sheets, art papers and a photo frame.

Paint Pop-Art Meow and Sip

31 March 2019, Sunday. from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

Registration Fee : RM 110.00 nett per pax.

*All painting materials are provided with one (1) beer/coffee/cider and you can take your canvas painting home.

Parent + Child Mini Flower Basket Workshop

30 March 2019, Saturday. from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

Registration Fee : RM 60.00 nett per pair (1 adult 1 child aged 4-12)

*All materials are included. You can bring home the mini flower basket that you have created with your little one.

Acidic Bunch is a high energy 6-piece band based in Penang, with more than 10 years of experience in live music performances in Penang and the Northern Region such as Alor Setar, Langkawi and Ipoh. Their music is a unique blend of different music styles, periods and genres with live instrumentation backing multi-lingual singers.

There will also be lots of Booth Exhibition and Food Fest happening during the Spring Festival. If you would like to come over to the festival after visiting IKEA, free shuttle bus is available too.

Booth Exhibition :

Food Fest :

Yes. Don’t have to worry about parking problems. You may take the free shuttle bus from Design Village Outlet Mall to IKEA and from IKEA to Design Village Outlet Mall each and every half an hour.
