In Lexis Suites Penang is the first place i have seen so many food being offered at a buffet dinner. There are a lot of choices to choose from, the quality and quantity of food will definitely be worth the money you pay, well, in fact it is consider as jaw dropping cheap .. !
The Ramadhan Buffet will be available starting 6th May until 4th June from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm, you can embark on a delightful spread of Ramadhan Buffet Dinner prepared by Lexis Suites Penang experience Executive Chef and his culinary team while basking in the mood of 'berbuka puasa' with your fellow families, relatives and friends. Pulut, Lemang and Ketupat
The buffet spread features over 100 dishes from local and international cuisines. Some items are dished up at the live action stations as well. Start off your culinary adventure with appetizers like ulaman and herba kampung, different types of kerabu, rojak mambo, pasembur or some must have Malay bites like serunding, pulut, ketupat and lemang. The one thing i like about the buffet here is that they serve many types of local food that i have never seen served at other restaurant, street food that are true to our Penang roots can be found here.

There are also assorted kampung pickles, Japanese maki, sashimi, edamame and Indian chicken tandoori, capati with dhall curry to get the variety flavors of taste buds going. The mixing of different types of food ranging from Japanese to our local Indian food is really awesome.

You can basically find a bit of everything out in the street of Penang here in the Lexis Suites Buffet. To sooth down the throat, diners can head to the soup corner where they can slurp down a piping hot bowl of ‘Gearbox’ Soup and also to look out for succulent treats like satay, nasi impit as well as the classical kambing golek sprinkled with assorted herbs, all prepared with the chef’s homemade spices and sauces that produce distinct unique tastes. I was surprise that the satay finish as soon as the buffet dinner started, after they refill them, i give it a try and i like it .. !

Another must have specialty will be the 'Kampung Melayu Bubur Lambuk' where it can be enjoy accompanied with variety of condiments to choose from. The Bubuk Lambuk is also one of my favorite food here at Lexis Suites. It is not too watery and the ingredient put into the Bubuk Lambuk mix well together making it aromatic and tasty.

As the amazing 'Iftar' buffet food journey continues, there are also Arabic cuisines crafted by Lexis Suites Arabian Chef for you to experience the flavors from Middle East. Arabic delights such as sharwarma wrapped with bread, hummus, tabbouleh, mutabbal, lamb kabsa, chicken mandy and more are available.

You can also enjoy street snacks like goreng pisang, karipap, cekodok pisang, keropok lekor, papadam and good old children snacks such as twisties, mamee and tam-tam. While for desserts, indulge in local sweets such as biskut almond London, biskut badam coklat, biskut dam aji, ondeh-ondeh, kuih lapis, kuih talam and carrot cake with cheese frosting. What excite me is the Kuih serve there as i am a fan of Nyonya Kuih like these, haha !
There are also assorted fresh cut local fruits, chocolate fountain, ice kacang and cendol durian to try on. With this much of food offered, it takes me some time to make up my mind on what to try first, if only my tummy is huge enough to try all the food here.
The Ramadhan buffet is reasonably priced at RM 98.00 nett per adult and RM 68.00 nett for children and senior citizen. Alternatively, if you purchase from 21th April until 5th May using the QR code at the bottom and key in the promo code of LSPRAMADHAN2, you will still be entitled for a relatively bargain price of RM 80.00 nett per adult and RM 58.0 nett per children and senior citizen. The vouchers can be utilized throughout the month of Ramadhan from 6th May to 4th June.
During Hari Raya Celebration on the 5th and 6th June, you can dine in a sumptuous buffet lunch from 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm which will be priced reasonably at RM 80.00 nett per adult, RM 50.00 nett per children and senior citizen. While for in house guests, you are entitled for the rate of RM 80.00 nett per adult and RM 58.00 nett per children and senior citizen during the Ramadan Buffet Dinner, while for the Hari Raya Buffet Lunch, you will be entitled for the rate of RM 68.00 nett per adult and RM 50.00 nett per children and senior citizen.
During the holy month of Ramadhan, all paying diners will stand a chance to win exciting daily and month end lucky draw prizes.
