Royale Chulan Penang which is located at Weld Quay, Penang is having The Asian Mash Up Buffet Dinner at their very own Sri Tanjung Cafe. Royale Chulan Penang which is part of Royale Chulan Hotels and Resorts is a Malaysian chain of full service hotels, founded and owned by Boustead Hotels and Resorts Sdn Bhd.

In celebration of George Town Asia's deep cultural roots, Royale Chulan Penang brings you their latest Friday night buffet called The Asian Mash Up. With spread of food featuring the savoury and sweet delicacies from all over Asia with each dish is an Asian classic and crafted exclusively by the talented chefs of Royale Chulan Penang specifically for this new buffet.

This time, lets start off with something sweet, lets look at the dessert at Royale Chulan Penang. There are many different types of dessert available here, some of them are like the Chocolate Mousse, Raisin Bread and Butter Pudding with Vanilla Sauce, Lemon Tart, Mini Creme Brulee, Apple Bluberry Pie, Mango Pudding, Assorted Fruit Tarrlet, Assorted French Pastries, Assorted Fruits Jelly and Cake of the day.

There are also some Malaysian favorite dessert like the Pengat Keladi, Sago Gula Melaka, Strawberry Pudding, Cream Puff and Assorted Butter Cake, Ice Kacang and more.

Though dessert is always tempting but a buffet dinner will not be a buffet dinner without the main dish being serve, so Royale Chulan Penang got you covered on that, they have the all time favourite buffet items such as the Poached Seafood on Ice, Nyonya Prawns Kerabu, Imam Balidi and Penang Char Koay Teow. Their Penang Char Koay Teow is my personal favourite. The Asian Mash Up also brings back some classic favourites such as Royale Chulan Penang most talked about Rice Selection with four different styles of cooking, Five Spices Roast Lamb and Crispy Fried Nestum Prawns.

In addition, to add a fusion twist to the buffet, The Asian Mash Up is also introducing a fusion pasta action station whereby classic Italian pasta will be given an Asian twist. Guests will be able to enjoy the unique taste of pasta dishes such as Sambal Sotong Pasta, Chili Crab Pasta, Stir Fry Seafood Tomyam Pasta and Duck Breast Aglio Olio Pasta. There will be four different menus in rotation so that guests will be able to enjoy one different type of pasta every week. Trying to break away from the conventional way of preparing pasta, Royale Chulan Penang put extra effort to come out with these four unique taste of pasta.

From their main course, you can find food like, Ayam Masak Madu, Stir Fried Squid with Dried Chilli and Blackpepper, Crispy Fried Nestum Prawn, Stir Fried Vegetables with Mushroom and Egg Sauce, Roast Chicken with Mushroom Sauce and more.

The Asian Mash Up Buffet Dinner is available every Friday from 5th July 2019 onwards from 6.30 pm to 10.00 pm at the Sri Tanjung Cafe. It is priced at RM 75.00 nett per adult and RM 50.00 nett per children or senior citizen. Royale Chulan Penang is also offering a special Seniors Eat For Free promotion whereby with every two paying adults, 1 senior citizen eats for free. This offer is applicable for both the Friday and Saturday Weekend Buffets.
